Damn thing kept running away from Victor every time he got close.
“Fucking goddamned demons.” he muttered as he started to get a bit winded. He had started tracking it in a small town about 467 miles from the outskirts of Las Vegas. Stolen something from an old man who said it was an ancient key, a key to the prison of an angry being. This old man almost knew instantly that Vic was lying about being FBI, police, or any law enforcement. But he still told him what happened. Guess some old Indian trust thing Victor had assumed. The old man told Victor he had little time or else there would b earthquakes and lightening. Victor bade the old man good day and left on the hunt. Calling Bobby Singer telling him what the old man had, he asked Bobby to do some research while he tracked the demon; and to come out to Cali when he had something. Oddly enough he smoke bag stayed around for a few days, almost taunting him. Letting him get close before disappearing. When similar events popped up in a nearby town, Victor was there. He had probably been following the trail of crumbs for almost a week and a half when he finally chased it down to a bar and it made a run for it. That was how he arrived in that current situation, running down an alley in San Francisco, California. Correction, dark alley in San Francisco, California. Where he unceremoniously bumped into someone he hadn’t been expecting. And they did so, LITERALLY
“What the?” he shouted in surprise looking at the new arrival in his story.

She was not amused. Not in the very slightest. The weather had been awfully hot and decided to stay that way. Now, Ryanne found herself chasing a demon. Heart pumping, head thumping, heavy breathing and palm sweating from clutching her gun? Yeah, that just made her even more grumpy.
She had no idea how this chase started, she supposed it was on instinct and she was awfully glad she left her bike at the cheap hotel she was in because there was a snowball's chance in hell that she would manage to find it again.
The demon was managing to run all through the back streets and it served to make Ryanne's temper flare even more. A flush had settled across her cheeks as well as perspiration on her forehead. She blinked and when she re-opened her eyes, the demon had gone, vanished. "Shit!"
Knowing it was no use in trying to keep up with it, wherever it had gone, it was probably well out of reach. She doubled back on herself and slowed down to a jog before turning down one of the many alleys San Francisco presented.
It stank and she didn't particularly want to be there but she was positive this was a way back. That was until she was knocked backwards, she stumbled slightly trying to remain upright, but failed.
She fell to the floor, dropping her gun in the process, "Bloody hell."
As soon as she noticed the man standing over her, Ryanne scrambled for her dropped gun and aimed it at the man in front of her, "You ought to watch where you're bloody well going, sunshine." 'Why am I even here? I shouldn't be here. Stupid demons and their incessant need to ruin everything.'

Lightening, Thunder, depressions, tropical storms... Castiel knew something was going on. Something big. Of course most hunters did. It was the apocalypse, but more then that, Castiel knew that it was a seal. Castiel was wary about bothering Dean and Sam with everything they were dealing with right now.
He watched from afar as Hurricane George swept through the atlantic. The lightning storm continued to push through and even hit land. Cas knew it was part of a seal. Castiel found a hunter in California, where there was more and more lightening happening. Not to mention Earthquakes.
Castiel looked around him as he was in Califorina. This really WAS the end of the world, or at least, it was a seal that was being broken. How could this be? How were the angels loosing on stopping SO many seals? Castiel didn’t understand it. Though, he thought that something was going on in Heaven, he just wasn’t sure.
Castiel had been trailing this demon, for quite some time, and he finally came to a dark alley in Califorina. He chased it for a few miles down this alley and he came to a stop.
He paused looking in both directions. He didn’t see where the demon went, but he could sense it. He quickly hurried towards the director, and then he saw two humans near each other.
“You should not be here...” Castiel said to them. “I will take care of this...” he said.

Bobby received a phone call sometime in the late, evening. He knew it either had to be from Dean or Sam, but of course he was wrong on both accounts. It was Victor. He sighed wondering what was up and why he hadn’t heard from the boys in some time. Still, he had quite often heard from other hunters, and he wanted to be assured that it was in fact about a hunt. It was. It was more then just a hunt though, it was about a seal. Another seal being broken. The last seal was Castiel, and of course, the poor angel was STILL recovering from what Alastair had done to him and those people. The older man didn’t see the angel yet after what had happened. Dean had told him everything.
Bobby sighed as he looked up some things about what’s been going on. Earthquakes, fires, ect... this whole world was now a living mess. Bobby decided he needed to call Vic. He actually felt like he was needed up there, but was going to discuss it with him. The thing was, this wasn’t just any regular hunt these hunters were facing. These were seals. Big time, end of the world Seals, and they had to stop them from breaking.
Bobby picked up the phone and let it ring. He waited for Victor to answer hoping he would get a reply soon.
The alley was smelly as all of hell and Vic didn’t particularly like it here, he didn’t mind the puddles of water, or the dirt and grime. That fact he couldn’t see into the shadows bugged him a bit. And the point was driven home when he ran into her. They collided with enough momentum on his end to knock her over even though she clearly tried to remain upright.
She fell to the floor, dropping her gun in the process, "Bloody hell."
When she noticed him she scrambled for the gun and aimed it right at him."You ought to watch where you're bloody well going, sunshine."
“Hey, look, you ran into me toots; I’m tryin to find someone important.” Before anyone said anymore a new stranger ran up from another direction
“Oh great.” The guy looked like a tax accountant.
“You should not be here...” Castiel said to them. “I will take care of this...” he said. Victor looked him over.
“And you would be?” he asked as his cell phone began to ring. Bobby, thank god, maybe he had some info for him. “Hey Bobby, whatcha got for me?”
Last Edit: Sept 8, 2010 17:10:59 GMT -8 by Deleted
The grip on her gun tightened and it remained on target, on his chest. She had no idea who this guy was but he didn't even apologise for knocking her down.
She gave him the once over and took in his dark clothing and lean muscled body, immediately coming to the conclusion that he was either a gym fanatic (she doubts it) or a fighter.
“Hey, look, you ran into me toots; I’m tryin to find someone important.”
Ryanne's eyes narrowed, her gun hand's aim moved from his chest to his head and she stepped closer to him and snarled, "Don't call me 'toots', you insufferable little sh--" The rest of her insult was cut off by another man. This one looking like he went a couple of rounds in a bank and lost.
“You should not be here...I will take care of this...”
The young hunter blinked a couple of times before directing a scorching gaze at her 'attacker' and lowering her gun after sensing no hostility from him other than irritation. "Look, you're not the only one with problems and trying to find people. You have now hindered my search by knocking me over and--"
The shrill bell of a telephone cut her off and she growled low in her throat, annoyed at the nerve of the man. Giving up with him, she turned to the accountant-a-like man.
"So, to repeat this guy here. Who are you? Why shouldn't I be here and what makes you think you can handle it?" She arched an eyebrow at him, internally cheering for managing to say what she wanted with no interruptions

Castiel looked between both hunters and he stood tall in front of them. “My name is Castiel,” he said to them. “I am an angel of the Lord,” he explained not wanting to lie as Dean told him once to do so. Castiel could not find it within himself to lie. He took a step back for a minute as he heard the phone ring and Victor answered it. He frowned wanting to talk more to them but realized he just didn’t have time for this.
He looked towards Ryanne as she asked who he was, “As I said, I am Castiel, an angel of the Lord,” he said and he felt it necessary to take a step back and show them his wings. “This is due to the seals breaking,” he explained, “The 66 seals, if this seal breaks, then it is one more seal that has broken,” Castiel told them.
He knew that they probably wouldn’t understand him nor want to. “I believe I should handle this,” he said “As I stated, you two should not be here, it is far too dangerous,” he said with a frown. “This is a very powerful demon we are dealing with, and I do not wish for you to get hurt,” Castiel said to them. “Either one of you...”
He knew they would have a problem with that. Dean always had a problem when Castiel had asked him to stay back. Still though, Castiel knew that he had to hold his ground on this one. He had to tell them that he was serious. He kept his wings open for a moment and then closed them. "Please do as I ask." he said.

Bobby was a bit relieved when Victor finally picked up the phone. He looked at the phone for a minute, “Is that Castiel in the background?” he asked barely letting Victor get a sentence in. He recognized the angels voice. The two had met previously being that he and Dean were working quite a bit together.
“Wait, is Castiel telling HUNTERS they shouldn’t be involved?” he asked Victor.
“Victor, this is serious,” Bobby said when he was asked what he found out. “This is a seal,” he said. “One of the 66 seals, and if all of them are broken, guess who’s coming to dinner, as Dean would say,” Bobby remarked. He frowned a bit not wanting to get on about the rest.
“The thing is, Castiel is a tad right,” he said to him. “Although, I think I need to be over there,” he said. “I’ll fly out first thing in the morning if you want me to,” Bobby suggested hoping that Victor would go for it. “In the meantime, do what Castiel says, and he’ll help you through the rest.”
Bobby wanted more then anything to tell Victor what he wanted to hear, but if Castiel thought it was THAT bad, then it was THAT bad. Bobby didn’t like it. Not one bit, and he was worried Castiel might even tell HIM to back off. Still....he had to try. THey had to work on this together.
“I’m dancing in the rain,” Alastair sung under his breath as he circled around the Major Oak. As he made his way around the large tree he dropped small bags at random intervals. When the last was dropped he took a step back. Tipping his head backward he let the cold pelting rain wash over his face. The day had started out sunny and warmer than usual for this time of year. The forecast had called for the temperature to rise and had said it would be sunny for the next couple of days as well.
The flash of lighting and clap of thunder that followed soon after it caused the demon to laugh. “I do believe this little shower proves I’m doing something right.”
As if in answer to the demon’s mocking, a chain of lightning streaked across the sky crashing into the giant oak. Alastair smirked, “Is someone up there trying to give me a message?”
“I don’t know about up there, but I’ve been trying to call you for the past hour.”
Three bodies moved behind him, it was dark but he could see that between the two trailing behind the leader of the group, a body was slung between them. The first person drew closer and yet the human eyes Alastair now sported still couldn’t make her out. He only knew that it was a woman from the sound of her voice.
“Timothy sends his deepest apologies for being ‘tied up’ at the moment. He sent me here in his place with your package.”
Human eyes flooding with power, the demon within surfaced just a little more and suddenly the world was back in focus. The darkness gave way and to the human eyes he still looked through it was as if it was day again and he’d slipped on a pair of really strong sun glasses.
“What are you doing here you little witch?” Alastair asked turning his attention away from the demons that stood before him. He didn’t have time for this, if there was another power struggle going on he didn’t care. He had a job to do now and be damned if some little upstart of a demon wanted to lord over him.
“Someone like you wouldn’t even register to someone like me,” Alastair snarled before motioning for the two demons behind her to bring the body forth. They hesitated and act of frustration Alastair pulled the body from them with his own telekinetic power, slamming it against the tree. The two demons shrank back but the one in the lead did not.
“So you needed a sacrifice I take it, Timmy wasn’t very forthcoming with details when I was tor-er, talking to him.” the demon slid up alongside of him to peer down at the make shift alter he’d made out of the tree. “What are you going to do ?”
“Watch as you make him bleed.”
“What?”
Alastair smiled a sickeningly sweet smile handing the demon beside him the blade he’d kept concealed. “Go for the wrists and make him bleed, now, before I change my mind and put you up there instead.”
Finally an inkling of fear shun through. The little demon was hesitant at first like her boys had been. But she took the knife and quickly made the cuts on the man at the base of the tree. Looking at him now Alastair noted that he was tied and gagged but wide awake, who would sleep through getting their wrists cut open? A motion of his hand had the ropes breaking and the bloodied wrists flying out to be pinned against the tree’s trunk. The man groaned around the gagged and tears welled up in his eyes, rolling down his cheeks just like the blood pooling at his wrists and running down his arms.
“So what now, we wait till he slowly bleeds to death?” The little demon had found some of her old bravado again. Her accomplices hadn’t though, or that was what Alastair gathered from their sudden disappearance.
He didn’t say anything just waited and watched as the first little red drop fell. It hit the tree trunk followed shortly by another and another and as each drop hit the trunk they began to bubble, not boil because the demon couldn’t see any steam rising from the trunk. But the blood was bubbling and moving along the tree trunk now glowing white with some inner light, it didn’t look anything like blood anymore.
“People believed that oaks where gateways between worlds it’s what earned them the name of ‘Tree of Doors’ from the Celtics. But that’s not exactly the way it works, no, they are simply a place where portals can be erected.” Alastair decided to enlighten his audience. “Blood makes it work, blood is the key it’s always the key. When the blood flows the door opens.”
Lightning crashed again hitting the tree and the demons watched as the human exploded in a flash of light. The smell of burning flesh hit their noses first as the light died down and before them leaning against the tree was a tall muscular man wearing of all things armor and fur and a Viking helmet. At his feet were the charred remains of a skeleton and behind him the glowing had stopped. The tree was perfect unmarred by blood or anything really.
“Hello Thor, we’ve been expecting you.”
Now
Dark clouds rolled and rain pelted, lighting flashed and thunder rumbled soon after it signifying that the storm was close if not directly overhead. The demon made his way down the main street reveling in the chaos these storms were causing. All across the country, up and down the seaboard, storms of different magnitudes had been raging for three days now.
Alastair turned left and then right and then left again taking random turns to throw off the few not so sneaky angels that were following him. After taking another corner he found himself standing outside the meeting place, an ally way in San Francisco. It didn’t have a name and he couldn’t remember the street name for the life of him. It had just been a place he’d picked and marked at random for the drop off.
“You should not be here.”
“Ah damn it,” Alastair growled under his breath staring down into the long ally way. Three people stood around in a lose circle talking. One of those people happened to be a freaking angel, not a very threatening angel mind you but still a damnable angel.
“I do not have time to deal with any of you hunters or angels or just plain old humans in the wrong place at the wrong time!” the demon said a little louder this time pulling back from the mouth of the ally way. He’d wait and see if his demon contact showed before he made a move here. It was to important that he get his hands on the key, after all in order to break this seal he needed more than one god.
“Or,” the demon found himself saying as he listened to the humans and angel squabble. “Maybe I’ll get lucky and they’ll kill each other? I know Heaven’s been more involved with Earth then it has in a long time but seriously. These people cannot take what Angel Cakes’ says seriously. Maybe if I’m lucky they’ll think him a high level demon and attack him. it would keep them distracted for a while.”
“Is that Castiel in the background?” Bobby asked over the phone. “Uhh Yea…” Bobby knew this guy? Who said he was an angel?
“Wait, is Castiel telling HUNTERS they shouldn’t be involved?” he asked Victor.
“Yea, he is, Bobby, but do ya-“ Bobby cut him off.
“Victor, this is serious,” Bobby said when he was asked what he found out. “This is a seal,” he said. “One of the 66 seals, and if all of them are broken, guess who’s coming to dinner, as Dean would say,” Bobby remarked.
“What the hell IS this seal thing and why can’t we just go in guns blazing as usual?”
“The thing is, Castiel is a tad right,” Bobby said. “Although, I think I need to be over there,” he said. “I’ll fly out first thing in the morning if you want me to,” Bobby suggested “In the meantime, do what Castiel says, and he’ll help you through the rest.”
“Just get out here as soon as you can so we can figure out exactly what the hell is going on here.” Victor wasn’t going to be patient with this if it was as bad as this Castiel guy and Bobby made it out to be.
Vic looked up from his phone, having turned his back on the other two, which in hindsight he didn’t think was very smart, and noticed someone backing out of the alley. Probably some guy who just happened to turn and see three people, two of whom were toting guns and just wanted to back out before he got shot.
And then he stood there. That’s not suspicious.
“Ok uhh Castiel, you stay here with her and I’m gonna go check out this guy over here.” Victor lifted his arm, hand up and open palmed facing the two other people in the alley as he instructed then without looking in their direction.
“Hey Buddy, you looking at somethin’?”

Ryanne rolled her eyes at the thought of there actually being Angels. She had never believed in God, her parents opting not to christen/baptise her at birth, instead giving her the option when she was older.
"So, if you're an Angel, that means your telling me there is a God? As in creator of the Earth and everything on it?" She was about to let out a dark chuckle and curse him out 'til next Tuesday.
“As I said, I am Castiel, an angel of the Lord,”
Shaking her head and coughing, she leveled Castiel with a look, "So, you're an Angel and God is real?" She did a quick glance around her, expecting to see cameras, but saw none. "Okay then guys, where's the cameras, Ashton? I've been punk'd right? Right?"
Ryanne honestly thought she had seen everything but the guy in front of her had wings. Huge, for real, wings. her jaw dropped ever so slightly to form an 'O' shape. "I honestly have...So that...You're a.." She couldn't form coherent sentences and it annoyed her.
Ryanne knew she was being a slight disrespectful and expected a lot of yelling but instead Castiel just carried on explaining as if she had not spoken.
“This is due to the seals breaking...The 66 seals, if this seal breaks, then it is one more seal that has broken,"
"Seals? What do you mean Seals? Seals to and/or for what?" Ryanne was now seriously concerned as well as confused. It was at times like these that she regretted even embroiling herself into the hunter business but she always found that she would not know what to do with her life without it.
“I believe I should handle this...As I stated, you two should not be here, it is far too dangerous...This is a very powerful demon we are dealing with, and I do not wish for you to get hurt...Either one of you...Please do as I ask”
She looked at him and blinked. Then blinked again. "Hold up, you and him," she points to Vic, "Interupt me in the middle of a chase to tell me I can't help? Are you insane?! It's my job. This is what I do! There is no way in hell that I'm going to sit this one out so don't bother with your manners or the stern tone or even that face."
Ryanne forgot about Vic, even though she had just mentioned him and she winced slightly when he spoke, reminding her that she had let down her guard for a few minutes. Not good at all.
“Ok uhh Castiel, you stay here with her and I’m gonna go check out this guy over here.”
"Oi! I don't need a keeper! What are you looking at anyway?" She followed his eye sight and saw a man at the mouth of the alley. The guy was obviously up to something, whether it was supernatural or not. It was suspicious however, before she could say anything else, Vic had taken off down the alley.
Ryanne quickly glanced back at Castiel, "Well I for one, am not letting him assume I need looking after and take the credit." With that said, she left the Angel to his own devices and followed Vic.
“Hey Buddy, you looking at somethin’?”
The young female shot him a glare and in a harsh voice, reprimanded him, "Don't be so rude!" She then turned to the other man, "I'm sorry about that but could we help you with something?" She knew there was something weird about him but she continued to play out her little charade. She latched on to Vic's arm and fake simpered at him, "He just hates getting asked for directions and being stared at, though I'm sure you weren't even looking our way."
'Someone please gag me. Better yet, wake me up when it's all over.'
Castiel sighed. Why did humans have to be so frustrating at times? It seemed to him that they NEVER listened and when they did, it was a rare occasion. Dean Winchester NEVER listened to him hardly at all. In fact, most of the times he had argued with him, and this particular case, Cas was dealing with TWO hunters who didn’t want to listen. He frowned but then he turned when he thought he could feel a presence of a VERY strong and powerful demon. One he was familar with. Alastair.
As Victor AND Ryanne started to approach the demon Castiel frowned. WHY, WHY was it always this difficult? He appeared in front of them to stop them. “NO,” he said to them. “I will handle this, this demon...his name is Alastair, you do not understand what he is capable of...” Castiel said to them. He was half worried, half worried that every time he faced Alastair he had been defeated by him. Every time. Castiel frowned as they started walking once again anyway. “Hey Buddy, you looking at something?” Vic had asked Alastair.
Castiel shook his head. He watched as Ryanne grabbed a hold of Victors arm and took it as they continued to go towards Alastair. “You DO NOT understand,” Castiel said to them. “I have dealt with this demon before,” he said. He was trying desperately to stop them.
Castiel stared as they got closer to Alastair. He stared at the demon for a moment remembering their last meeting where Alastair used him to try and break a seal. Castiel frowned at the memory and he hoped this was a chance to get revenge on the demon for performing such a task.
Castiel stepped in front of Victor and Ryanne, “Once again I am ordering you to STOP,” he snapped at the both of them. He knew they would argue but he didn’t care. He frowned and looked towards Alastair. “Alastair,” Castiel said, “You will stop this action in which you are performing...” he said his voice a little shaky.
More and more Castiel was starting to feel human emotions, more and more he felt fear when he was around demons he knew he couldn’t handle. More and more, he knew that his powers were beginning to fade a bit due to being around the humans so much.
“Alastair, I am giving you one warning,” Castiel said, “Just one, and I will call upon my superiors to aide me in sending you back to where you belong...” he said. He knew that the demon would only laugh at him, but it was worth a shot anyway. Castiel had always counted on Zachariah and his other brothers and sisters, but the last time they didn’t show. This time...there was nothing to block them from coming.
Meanwhile Bobby was in his car on his way to the scene driving as fast as he could.
(ooc: figured I"d post as Bobby arriving later)

"Don't be so rude!" A woman spoke up behind the man that had spoken first. "I'm sorry about that but could we help you with something? He just hates getting asked for directions and being stared at, though I'm sure you weren't even looking our way."
A demon, two hunters and, an angel in an ally it sounded like the start of a bad joke. And the joke just kept getting worse the more the angel of the group kept on yapping. “-In sending you back to where you belong. . .”
“Sorry where you still talking Angel Cakes? I think I zoned out around your fifth empty threat.” The demon snapped. “If no one came to your rescue when I had you naked and chained up and begging me to finish you, well, none of your little angel friends are going to bother coming here to help you now.”
So much for playing it smooth and simple, thanks to the stupid angel there was no acting all human like and getting away with this scot free. It looked like he was going to have to get his hands dirty here while he was waiting for the demon contact of his to show up.
“You know it’s really not too much to ask for something, just one thing to go off without a hitch.” Alastair started in as he stepped forward blocking the entrance to the alley way. “I mean sure my side has been winning this little war. Seals have been breaking left, right and, center but it’s never easy. “
Without making a big show of it, no unnecessary hand gestures no human eyes going a distinctly non-human milky white. But he was sure that everyone could feel the demonic power building behind him like a wall. A wall of power that the demon would gladly let loose on his enemy here and now, which would ideally flatten the angel and get him out of his hair once and for all.
“Stupid bloody angels you haven’t been around for the last what thousand years or two? You left this dust ball hanging high and dry and for the better part of the last millennia we demons have run the show. It’s been great can’t complain I mean the influx of souls down bellow, as the head torture of hell I got to say it’s been great for business all the souls we’ve been getting. I think the system has been working really well. So why do you have to go and muck it all up?”
"Don't be so rude!" She then turned to the other man, "I'm sorry about that but could we help you with something?" She knew there was something weird about him but she continued to play out her little charade. She latched on to Vic's arm and fake simpered at him, "He just hates getting asked for directions and being stared at, though I'm sure you weren't even looking our way."
Were they supposed to be together now or something? Victor snorted air through his nostrils. And then the “angel” got between Victor and the stranger.
“Once again I am ordering you to STOP,” Angel boy snapped at Vic. He did not just tell Vic how to do things. Then he frowned and looked at this ‘demon’, Alastair. “Alastair,” Castiel said, “You will stop this action in which you are performing...” he said in a shakey voice.
Before anyone else could get a word in Victor scolded the winged wonder, whose wings by the way, he had missed when he wasn’t looking at him a minute ago. “Castiel, whatever the hell your name is, do NOT tell me what to do.” He growled.
Victor was the first to speak up, he had a few colorful things to say to the apperent demon. but right now he felt like answering the question.
“Because we’re the good guys.”

She had blatantly ignored Castiel as she ran after Vic and, in hind-sight, she really wished she hadn't.
***
“Sorry where you still talking Angel Cakes? I think I zoned out around your fifth empty threat...If no one came to your rescue when I had you naked and chained up and begging me to finish you, well, none of your little angel friends are going to bother coming here to help you now.”
Ryanne stiffened up and promptly let go of Vic. A demon. A demon that had managed to capture an angel and torture him. She backed up slightly and reflexively dropped into a defensive stance, her gun and knife hand, twitching.
“Alastair...You will stop this action in which you are performing...Alastair, I am giving you one warning...Just one, and I will call upon my superiors to aide me in sending you back to where you belong...”
She had to believe it now. The tone Castiel was using, the shake in his voice. It all came down to one thing. Genuine trauma, fear. Ryanne had never been tortured and so had no idea what it was like or begin to empathise with people that had. But for a demon to torture an angel which resulted in said angel to fear the demon, well that was a whole different scale.
The hunter's hand was twitching still, determined to reach for one of her weapons but she couldn't. She couldn't risk the other two getting hurt, regardless as to whether they could defend themselves or not. She couldn't move for them as it was a ninety-nine percent chance that the demon, Alastair, would catch her.
“You know it’s really not too much to ask for something, just one thing to go off without a hitch...I mean sure my side has been winning this little war. Seals have been breaking left, right and, center but it’s never easy. “
He was angry. She could tell by the tone of voice but one thing puzzled her. Seals. She still had no idea what they were exactly, where they were and how they could be broken. She frowned at Alastair but dared not speak. She glanced at the other two out of the corner of her eyes, seeing them was reassuring but she wasn't sure if she could depend on them to assist her if anything went hinky. They would most likely being on the side of 'good' but you couldn't be too sure.
A blast of power hit her and caused her to step back a few small steps. Yes, the demon was incredibly pissed and wanted them to know it. To know and feel his power and damn it. It was strong and it made her feel pure, unadulterated fear. Her frown deepened at the thought of being scared. It was quite a rare feeling, an odd one and one she wished she never had to experience.
Ryanne subtly moved towards Castiel, knowing that he would indeed be able to help as there was no way she was going to leave him to take care of it. Not simply because he was tortured, but because he thinks that she can't handle it. Trusting this Victor guy was another matter too. Seemed to be arrogant and not like her, at all. They clashed.
“Because we’re the good guys.”
Ryanne gave Victor a 'what the fuck face' and seriously contemplated, smacking her forehead with the palm of her hand. instead she looked to Castiel, then to Alastair and then back to Victor, "Really? Did you really just say that?" Could he not feel the power? exuding from the demon? Christ, the idiot must have pissed him off more.
All she could do was sit back and watch events unfold and even then, she was dreading every single second of it.
