Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?

Castiel didn’t want to believe this was all happening right now as they stood there in front of Alastair, but it had. He stared at the demon and tried to get the fear to be released from his vessel. It wasn’t working. He stared at Alastair wanting peace between him and the demon but knowing that he wasn’t about to get it.
He looked at him for a moment, “Perhaps my brothers and sisters did not rescue me then,” he said softly to them, “Perhaps you are right Alastair, but there are no traps around here, nothing to stop them from coming now...” Castiel said angrily. He wanted to believe they WOULD actually be there to save him, but he knew the truth. He knew the demon was right.
“I can not allow you to do this,” he said to the demon when he was going off about wanting one thing to go without a hitch. “I am sorry Alastair, but you must stop this at once,” Castiel said. He tried to prove his bravery but in reality he couldn’t. He knew Alastair could see right through him. He knew how terrified he must have looked towards Alastair. He knew...he knew right then and there that Alastair knew that he owned Castiel ever since he had trapped him and tortured him.
Castiel only wished he could count on his family to help him, but he knew the truth. Alastair was right. There was no way his brothers and sisters were going to come. Not after what happened before.
“We came because we saw how things were and we could not let the demons do any further damage then what was already done,” Castiel said to him. “We came because we are needed here whether the demons LIKE it or not,” he snapped.
He glanced over at Ry and Vic for a moment ignoring them. He wished they had just listened to what he had to say for once. Why was it always so hard for humans to understand that the angels only wanted what was in their best interest? “Victor, Ry, I am asking you...please leave,” Castiel said one more time, “You do NOT know what you are dealing with here,” he said looking at Alastair. “This demon...defeated me once already...” Castiel said. “Victor, I need you to phone Bobby Singer,” he said. “Tell him what is happening,” Castiel told him.
He looked back over at Alastair and walked closer to him, “I am asking you again...” he said trying to sound as brave and tough as he could, “Stand down,” he said. "This is over."
If whoever was in possession of the damn key didn’t show up soon, Alastair wasn’t quite sure what he would do. But chances were, whatever he ended up doing would result in a lot of bloodshed. Somehow that helped to ease the demons ire just a little as the humans and angel continued to badger him. Couldn’t they tell a rhetorical questions when they heard one?
“Look I could really care less if you and the rest of your kind finally decided to get up off your feathery behinds and do something for a change.” Alastair growled out all the while looking over the angel’s shoulder. Expecting at any moment the demon with the key to appear behind the sorry lot of humans and an angel standing before him, any time now would be nice.
“Stand down, this is over?” The demon gave the angel a disbelieving look. “First off I don’t even want to be here! And I’m not talking about this city or this state or this planet. I’m talking about the whole mortal coil. I’m over it; this place is disgusting and cold. I just want to get the job done and go home.”
“So you humans can run along and go find some vengeful spirit to play with. Leave the apocalypse to the demons that know what they are doing kiddies.” Alastair flashed the hunters a grin before turning his gaze back to the angel. “And you Castiel can make like the angel you are and get to Jesus!”
“Yea I did, so what it’s a demon? a little holy water and some Latin and then its done.” Vic shrugged at the woman who had a noticeable enough English accent. Really, how hard could this be? Yea he had a bad feeling, but who didn’t when they were staring down a denizen of Hell? When this was over and Vic was the one who dispatched Alistaire, they’d all feel pretty stupid. Moving into his pocket for his flask of holy water Victor took a tight grip on it.
He listened to the angel, he was at least asking this time. But Victor was a hunter this is what he does, Pat didn’t teach him to back down in a fight, he taught him to fight to the last man. Old soldier, Maybe if the moment wasn’t so serious Vic might have smiled a bit at the memories of his mentor. Looking between the three others present Victor rolled his neck. He reached for his phone, same pocket as the holy water. He flipped it open and re-dialed Bobby. He waited for an answer as the demon went on about how they should just move on. Vic wanted to shoot him in the face with his shot gun. Wouldn’t kill him but it would shut him up, did he always sound like he had a cold? That nasally voice, he must not even use his mouth to talk, it must all come through his nose. When he answered and he got a hello from Bobby Victor relayed the past five minutes in less then one. Recounting the chase, running into the woman, angel boy popping in, and then the demon. He waited for a response on the other end.
“Yea I did, so what it’s a demon? a little holy water and some Latin and then its done.”
The female hunter looked at him incredulously before she narrowed her eyes, turned to face him and hissed, "You're kidding right? Are you blind? Did you not feel that burst of power? That came from him!"
The guy was unbelievable and was slowly starting to grate on her nerves. It was as if the guy was out to kill himself and others, confirming the assumption that he was a 'shoot now, ask questions later' kind of guy.
She turned away from him, too annoyed to look or even speak to him and instead opted to look around the alley, looking for anything that can help the situation become a little better for her. However, it was no good because she just could not concentrate properly.
She was restless. Her fight or flight instincts were fighting tooth and nail against each other but they were at an impasse. The hunter in her wanted to stay and fight alongside the Angel and the other hunter but the compassionate, intelligent side knew Castiel was right and that she should get the heck out of dodge and drag the cocky git next to her, with her.
Ryanne observed the demon, yet again. She didn't know what it was but she was drawn to him. It could have been his power, his calm or his confident, yet casual presence. As if nothing could ever really affect him. She noticed, when he spoke to them, instead of looking at one of them directly he chose to look behind them.
It unnerved her slightly because it was as if he was waiting for someone or something to happen. Ryanne started to pace up and down, torn between the decision to be a coward and run or be an idiot and fight. Two tough choices and she definitely knew her answer. There was no way in hell that she was going to be a coward.
Whilst she was pacing, Ryanne chanced a look behind her and saw nothing but assumed that was the direction that whatever this Alastair wanted, was coming from.
"Look, Wings, Demon Boy. Sorry to break up your little tete-a-tete because for all of your ignoring, that's what it seems to be, but just so you know, I'm not going anywhere. You," She pointed to the demon, "You can't expect me, a hunter, to do exactly what you say when you say it and you," She whirled around to Castiel, "You can't expect me to leave now after you said he had already defeated you. Surely you would want some help, some back up?"
Ryanne knew the other guy was on the phone and felt like ripping it out of his hand. Even though Wings told him to do it, he didn't have to as it was clearly not the time nor place. As she was about to go over and take it, she heard something behind her, making her freeze. Her right hand slowly crept up to the waist band of her jeans and hovered over her gun and she slowly turned around. She had no idea if the others had noticed or not. Hopefully she could dispatch whatever it was, before they noticed it was approaching.
Castiel looked at the three of them. Why would nobody listen to him? Humans were impossible, and demons were....forget it. Down right NEARLY impossible. Not that he expected Alastair to do as he said, Alastair never did. Especially after what happened between them. He looked at Alastair for a moment, “I will not leave Alastair,” Castiel told him.
He went up to the demon and looked at him in the eyes. The very demon that not nearly too long ago used Castiel as a seal. Castiel knew that was something he could never forget. Here he was now, once again facing the very same demon, trying to STOP him once again, and of course, worried that he was walking into another trap....once again.
Castiel sighed and looked at the humans who were standing next to him, “Please, I need you to leave!” Castiel said to them. He was getting a bit annoyed by the fact that they wouldn’t, but really, they were mostly in the way. He glared at VIc, “This is more then just, a little holy water and some latin,” Castiel said, “This is Alastair, one of the most powerful demons...” he started to say, but stopped himself when he realized that no one was listening to him anyway. He sighed once more.
He knew they wouldn’t listen though, so the best way to handle this, was to handle Alastair. He stared at the humans, then back at the demon. “Alastair, I will not just sit here and do nothing while you break another seal,” he said.
Castiel turned when he too started to hear something, “What is that?” he whispered. He turned for a second, and then looked back at Alastair, “What are you attempting?” he asked him suddenly trying to grab him by the coat. He knew it wouldn’t work, but he didn’t care. Castiel had to try.
Truthfully he couldn’t believe they all lasted THIS long. He thought for certain that Alastair would have never left them alone about this. He frowned glaring at the demon, “Last chance to back down Alastair,” he said to him. “Last and FINAL chance.” he added.

Bobby had been driving his sweet ass as fast as he possibly could. All he knew was, he had to get to Victor and Castiel and quickly. He broke several speeding laws on the way. This was something major, something that had to be stopped. It was another seal, and as old as Bobby was getting, he knew that he was getting to old for this garbage.
Still though, with Dean and Sam busy, Bobby knew that other stuff was going on. He also knew that things were just happening that shouldn’t be, and he knew that it was getting way worse then what it was before.
The 66 seals. Bobby never thought he’d live to see the day. Now he was meeting Angels, hell talking to them! He just never thought all this would be happening, and there they were. He was driving to California out of all places, to try and STOP a seal from breaking because an angel ‘Castiel’ had asked Victor to help him. An ANGEL needed help stopping a demon. Bobby found that a little unreal.
In all his years a a hunter he never saw anything quite like this one. Bobby pulled up to the location Victor gave him and he stopped a few feet behind. He knew that Alastair would probably recognize him or at least know that he was with Dean and Sam most of the time. Still, he had to do something.
He drove his truck over close to them as close as he could get being they were in an ally, and sped up towards Alastair and Castiel, he then got out quickly with a shotgun in his hand, “Watch out wing boy,” Bobby said to Castiel to have him move out of the way, “This may sting a little,” he grinned as he turned to Alastair Bobby rigged something up just in case he popped in at the right place, right time. A shot gun with rock salt, and he floored the truck at them and started firing at Alastair. He knew it was a stupid move, but still, he knew it had to be done.

This little stand still was getting old and to be quite honest Alastair wasn’t even sure why he didn’t just massacre the whole lot of them. Ok though he was loath to admit it, Castiel was the reason why he hadn’t snapped a few human necks and made the streets of San Francisco run red with the blood of his enemies. It wasn’t because he was afraid of this particular angel. Far from it, in fact the name Castiel didn’t even instill the same annoyance it once did to Hell’s head torture. It still galled him that this weak little cherub was the one that ‘saved’ Dean Winchester and he knew that he was the butt of a few demons’ jokes because of it.
The fact remained however that this being before him was an angel. Something far older even if it was not more powerful then he was. Sure he could kill the humans that Castiel was attempting to protect, it would serve to release stress and also to drive it home to the angel just how helpless it really was. But of course the angel could easily dragged the humans back from the great beyond regenerating their broken bodies in the process all without the aid of a soul given in a deal.
“Last chance to back down Alastair,” The angel intoned trying to come off as brave and imposing like the angels of the Old Testament.
It was insulting to be talked down to in such a way and the demon was ready to let his displeasure known when. “Watch out wing boy, this may sting a little.” Was hollered rather loudly, Alastair was quite sure that even the humans heard the warning over the roaring winds of Thor’s storm. The gunshots though? They probably couldn’t hear the bangs over the winds but Alastair could. That was why he didn’t have to turn around to know that he was being fired upon.
“If it’s not a gun forged by Samuel Cult it’s better to just shoot yourself with it.” Alastair said turning to face the newcomer. “Ah, Mr. Singer it’s a pleasure to finally meet face to face. Dean has told me so much about you.”
Yes the salt bursting and spraying over his body stung like no one’s business but Alastair was made of tougher stuff then the lesser demons this man was use to facing. Add to that the fact that Alastair was a little bit of a masochist and well a shot gun firing off rock salt just wasn’t going to cut it. Frowning the demon took one step forward towards the human before stopping and growling out.
“You’re not worth the effort old man so why don’t you just,” Alastair flicked his wrist directing a telekinetic pulse of energy at the still running hunter ensnaring him, tossing him into the air and sailing over the demons’ head to land in a heap in front of the angel. “Set this one out.”

The rain was stilling coming down, harder then it had been. You probably couldn’t see a thousand feet out infront of your own face. “Then we hit him harder than he we would another demon. If he can walk, and smell like sulfuric shit, then we can send him straight back to hell.” He gave Cas the same look of hell bent angry determination he did the huntress. “I’m goin' no where.”
And the award for best entrance by a hunter over the age of 40 in the middle of the thunderstorm while attacking a demon with a truck goes to-Mr Bobby Singer everyone! Seriously, that was pretty cool. And then he opened fire on the demon.
‘Dean Winchester? Like John Winchester’s boy? Holy crap!’ Victor thought to himself. Wait; get back to the matter at hand, Vic! When he stepped towards Bobby, Midas put his hand on his gun. He wasn’t going to just stand there now that the action had got going. Before he managed to pull the Colt Anaconda from where he had holstered it earlier-in his waist band, the demon flung Bobby Singer through the air. Oh that was just the distraction Victor needed, he drew the gun and leveled it at Alistair’s chest.
“Bite me you black eyed son of a bitch!” he shouted out after firing. Yea, time to beat the ugly off this guy...and that nasally voice, GOD!
Ryanne Benedict Hand still over her gun, she moved closer to the Angel but kept an eye on whatever was in the distance, however, what came out of the Angel's mouth distracted her.
She'd definitely had enough of the 'Wo is me' attitude from the Angel and stomped up to him very much like a petulant child and poked his chest. "We're not leaving! Get it into your thick head that we're not going. Just let us help you. There has to be some--" She couldn't continue at that moment in time because the thing that she saw in the distance turned out to be a truck with a man yelling something out of the window that she couldn't quite distinguish.
She watched as the man fired at the demon and was incredibly surprised, especially as the demon, Alastair seemed to be unaffected.
“You’re not worth the effort old man so why don’t you just,”
Everything seemed to pass too quickly for her to get a grip on. One minute the seemingly crazy man was standing there, the next he was in a heap on the floor infront of herself and Castiel.
She ran forward towards the man, a look of panic, concern and fear in her eyes and knelt down beside him, "Sir?! Sir, are you alright?" She rested her hand on his chest and leant over him, trying to make eye contact and to check that he was okay. Ryanne moved into a crouch position and grabbed both of his hands and hauled him up, risking any potential injuries in case another attack was sent in their direction.
Then she heard it, the moment where she wished it was on television and she could cringe and hide behind a cushion. The other hunter, Victor opened fire “Bite me you black eyed son of a bitch!”
The look on her face turned incredulous and she thought she must have looked like a fish before she just gave up, "I'm surrounded by bloody mental people."
Ryanne turned towards the Angel and the stranger that she was supporting, "So what's the plan of action then, gentleman. I believe something has to be done before our friend over there," She nods towards Victor still firing at Alastair, "gets himself killed."
A lot was happening, and Cas was....oblivious. Alastair was there, and he had two hunters to protect. Two. Three if he counted Bobby who was on the ground. He had to get Bobby out of there, that much he knew. He quickly went over to him and placed a hand on Bobby’s forehead, and then transported him back to his house. Then, Cas poofed back in front of the other two humans.
“Victor!” Castiel yelled to him, “STAND DOWN!” he shouted. He did not like the fact that these hunters were not listening to him. Did they not see just HOW powerful Alastair really was? What would happen if Castiel could not save them!? Castiel looked from Ry to Victor and he shrugged. What COULD he do if nothing could be done to stop Victor from nearly killing himself. Did he really not see just how powerful Alastair was? “Bullets will not stop this demon,” he said to Victor. Castiel went up to Victor and placed a hand on the weapon, he pulled Victor’s hand away from the trigger. “It will only make him mad,” he said.
Castiel walked over to Alastair, “Let these humans go,” he said to him, “I believe you and I should have a word,” he said glancing at the humans.
He knew that Victor and Ry would protest, but still, they seemed to not want to listen to him about what it was they were actually dealing with. Castiel knew his demons and Alastair was in fact...VERY powerful. More powerful then anyone would imagine. Castiel wasn’t even so sure he could defeat the demon himself.
He wished Uriel was standing there with him, at least it would have been a chance at a better fight. Yet, that wasn’t the case. Nor was the fact that Heaven hadn’t been on his side for a long time now, though he wouldn’t tell that to anyone let alone Alastair. He figured Alastair probably figured that out on his own. "Alastair, I believe it is time for YOU to stand down," he said.
