Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?

It has a few secret compartments for items of various use against monsters and the like. When he is forced to go casual he usually goes for scarves and long coats. Since he travels a lot, he just picks up clothing at a store and returns it, if he can, so he doesn't have a lot to carry. His motorcycle helmet is a solid black, full face tinted Bell. He keeps black as his main color, allowing him to hide in the dark.

Personality: Rush is a hot headed, brash, loner. He keeps to him self and stays quiet until you get to know him. He is cautious of everyone, fearing one of them could be the holder of his past. He prefers to get a job done quick, even if it means putting himself, or others, in danger. He knows little of his past so he is constantly finding out what he does or doesn't like or fear. He freezes up around demons, something holding him back from simply offing them. He can't stand by as a child is in danger and will do anything, no matter the cost, to save them. He feels like children, being innocent and pure, should never be targeted by the supernatural.
Family and Friends:He doesn't know anyone significant. With his past more than a blur, he only knows who he meets on the road. What he doesn't know is that is family is all dead. He keeps in touch with the lady who gave him his name, preferring to send her post cards so it's untraceable back to her.
Enemies and Rivals:None as of this moment.
History: Rush was born Alexander Frost in a small town in Missouri with his little sister to a loving couple. He grew up going to school that had less students total than most had in a single class. He was a simple person, loving music and art. He never settled down with a girl after he graduated, feeling there was something bigger and better out there for him. Upon getting an internship for a movie production company in New York, he decided to celebrate with some friends. During the party some strange events began to happen, lights flickering and so on. The arrival of a tall dark stranger provoked discomfort in the entire party. He claimed his name was Semyaza and he was looking for a disciple. Everyone gaffed at him and laughed him off. That was until he pulled out a large knife and slit a girls throat near him. The party erupted into chaos with Rush getting knocked into the path of the mad man. After the chaos began to settle, the man chose Rush and slammed him onto the table and began to carve odd symbols into his body. He was soon possessed with a demon named Anmael. Anmael, an odd demon who lusted for power to overthrow Semyaza and rule himself, kept Rush inside a special hell in his own body.
In Rushes body, Anmael slaughtered his entire family, letting him watch as he did terrible things to his sister, who was a mere 13 years old. He killed her slowly as Rush was helpless. That was the point when Rush fought back with all he had, shutting himself into a dark corner of his own mind, sealing out Anmael. Anmael used his body for years, carrying out evil plans for Semyaza, all the while working on finding a way to usurp his boss. Their dual finally came to a climax in Japan. Semyaza, weakened from performing a sealing technique on an angel, Anmael attempted to exorcise him and force him into an animal and seal him as well. When the battle seemed to be leaning in Anmael's favor, another demon appeared, Baal. This powerful demon ripped the two apart, incidentally freeing the angel in the process. The angel sent Anmael and Semyaza back to Hell, freeing Rush from his possession. Baal, not seeking a fight with the angel, chose to leave at that opportune time. The angel took Rush away from the terrible site, but was too weakened to get far. He healed all wounds, erasing his memory before disappearing to heal.
Then Rush woke up in the middle of the Asian jungle. He had no memory or indication of who he was or why he was there. He survived a few days before he realized something was hunting him. He ended up facing it and overcoming the monster. Unsure what it was, he was opened up into the world of the unseen and found out his body could do things he had no idea it was capable of doing. He was found by an old Japanese man who gave him shelter even though they could not communicate. He learned the Japanese man was a retired hunter and learned all he could from him through his grandson, who translated for them. He decided to travel to America, hoping to find out more about him. Upon arriving, he started taking hunting jobs for money. Saving up enough to buy his first motorcycle. Soon after he became a formidable hunter of all things supernatural, except demons.
His first run in with a demon ended with a child being possessed and killed. He got the job from a retired Marine suspecting his son was being drugged. When Rush found him, he had murdered a family and was using the sacrifices to summon a vengeful hell spawn. Not able to exorcise him, rush was forced to hold him in a devil's trap. Before he could find a way to break the seal, the hell spawn appeared and nearly killed Rush. He was forced to pick up a gun and shoot the child in the head, breaking the seal and releasing the demon, thereby casting out the hell spawn. Since then, he avoids demons, and guns, at all costs. He now has an irrational fear of guns. He refuses to use them and tries everything to avoid them.
Other Details You'd Like to Add: His name was given to him by his first employer. He saved her from a zombie brought back by her neighbor. She felt indebted to him so let him hold up in her house until he had enough to go on the road permanently. He took the name of the unborn child that the lady had lost. She believed he would have been a great man, much like she thought he was.

RP Sample: Rush quickly slammed on the brakes of the bike, sliding sideways to a halt. He was sure he had just seen his target. He killed the bike and removed his helmet, listening to the sounds of the night. He stepped off the bike, setting his helmet down and pulling out his short blade, a Japanese wakizashi. It's cold silver nearly sparkled in the moon light.
He stepped quietly towards the abandoned house. He knew this was prime territory for a werewolf, especially an omega. He got low to the ground, feeling the vibrations from the nearby night life. He soon picked up a steady trot getting heavier. He stood up at the ready, his blade at the ready. He reached in his pocket, his left, gloved hand fitting into a silver spiked knuckle duster.
He spun around in time to get knocked off his feet by the force of a pro boxer hitting him in the chest. He slammed hard into the ground, his chest caving in from the trauma. He regained his composure in time to brace himself from the large wolf to pounce on top of him. It's jaws clamped down hard on his wrist and bit down hard. His wrist braces kept it from breaking bones but the pain was unbearable. He freed his left hand enough to jab the silver spikes deep into the neck of the beast.
It let out a loud howl and let his arm go and leaped back, disappearing into the darkness. He sat up and recovered his blade. He flipped the trigger on the knuckle duster and three large silver claws shot out of the hidden compartments. He braced himself for the next attack. He closed his eyes, listening for the wolf to make a move. He heard a heart beat, a loud thumping in his ears. He recognized it as his own in time to take a breath and hold it until he heard the crash behind him. He turned and swung the blade and caught the wolf in the arm. It landed and fell to the ground, whimpering. He walked over to it, standing above it. He jabbed his claws deep into the wolf's chest, piercing the heart and killing it.
He stood up and took a deep breath as the wolf slowly changed back into a naked human. He was a large, burly man with blood covering his face. Rush let out a sigh of relief and wiped the blood from his blades. He walked over and sat on the steps of the house, resting and holding his chest, letting the pain fade from his body. He sat there for what seemed like an hour before he stood up, ready to leave.
He took a step before he heard as gasp behind him. He jumped and readied his blades yet again. He slowly walked up the steps, cautiously looking into the door of the house. He saw white fabric lying in a pool of blood around a corner. He opened the door and rounded the corner as fast as he could. He saw, lying there in her own blood, a young girl. She couldn't have been more than 13 years old.
He fell to his knees beside her, checking her wounds. She had massive bites all over her neck and sides. Her eyes had a faint sign of life as she locked him into a gaze. Her hand found his as a single tear fell from her eye. He put his hand on the side of her face, brushing the hair that was matted with dry blood out of her face. He whispered it was over and she was going to be okay as her gaze broke and she died silently.
He closed his eyes and dropped his head, a single tear falling from his eye. He stood up, reaching in his pocket and pulling out a lighter. He drug the werewolf's body into the house and started the fire. He stood back, watching it burn as the image of the girl was burned into his mind. This is why he did the job, but it never made it easier. He didn't make it in time to save her, but maybe he saved the next girl. That didn't bring back the girl on the floor, who's family would be searching for her, hoping she returns.
He put his things up, hopped on his bike, put on his helmet, and started it and drove off into the night. He had to stop and let his contact know it was dead, and the little girl wasn't alive. He hated this part the most, delivering the bad news. He could leave, never returning and not collecting his bounty. He didn't care about the money this time, but the people deserved to know their daughter wasn't coming back alive.
