Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!

In hindsight, this had been a bad idea. And Kennedy had even known as such when she submitted a profile on that dating web site. She wasn't really desperate for a man or anything. For the most part, she was happy. Single and happy. Sure, there were times when she wished that while she was laughing at the romantic comedy on tv that she could glance over and see if some great-looking guy was sharing in the humor, but it's not like she was falling apart inside because she didn't have a man. So whatever compelled her to sign up on 21stCenturyRomance.com had escaped her mind... but she had done it.
She hadn't been completely truthful on her profile. She left out the part about having money... and that psychic thing, yeah, not something you want to tell a guy until much later in the relationship. She also might have fudged a little on just how much she enjoyed computer games. Kennedy knew what she was... a geek. That didn't mean she had to flaunt it... at least not at first. She knew a lot of guys would love to have a gamer girlfriend, but few of them would say that it was what would attract them to a girl in the first place.
So she had managed to get a match within just a couple of days. She and the guy, Alex, chatted for about a week online before agreeing to meet in person. They had exchanged pictures and she had decided that Alex was worth trying to dress up a little. Well... dress up in a casual way. So she had dug out her best cleavage-showing top and tugged on a pair of slim-fitting jeans and some short leather boots, brushed her long, silky brown hair to perfection, put on a little mascara and lip gloss and even spritzed on a bit of Moonlight Path body spray, and then she drove to the restaurant to meet him.
When she arrived at Benny's, Alex was waiting at the table with a single red rose in his hand. He glanced over, their eyes met, and he smiled, standing up as she made her way over. They exchanged greetings, she accepted the rose, they sat down and placed their orders. Everything was going pretty well, but she was still feeling cautious, and while he was speaking to the waitress she subtly poured a bit of holy water into her glass. The conversation was nonstop, but something wasn't sitting right with Kennedy. They were chatting back and forth about their families with he mentioned her father by name. Kennedy froze, their eyes meeting, and then suddenly his baby blue eyes flashed an obsidian black. She panicked and gasped, throwing her glass of holy water in his face and bolting.
The demon chased her around the corner, and in a panic she turned down an alley, hoping that he would bypass her. But he followed her straight, and Kennedy found herself backed into a corner, her inky-eyed date lifting his hand and telekinetically lifting her by the throat, pressing her against the cold, brick wall of the pawn shop behind her.
"This is what's going to happen, little girl," he growled at her. "I need the security information for the vault at that bank on Third and Jefferson, and you're gonna give it to me."
((I am so so so sorry this has taken me so long... School is not being nice to me at all I hope this is not too crappy.))
It had been a long day at the office, he hated those days, full of people asking him questions that he wished that he could pass off to his father. Unfortunately, his father was gone and the business was in his hands; at least officially. After work, he had rushed over to get a drink at Benny's. He preferred to find low key places, where he could blend and relax.
He found a seat in the corner, by himself, and ordered a drink. It would have taken a blind man to miss the smile and flirtatious way the waitress brought his drink back, or the insinuation in her voice when she asked if he needed anything else. Kyle simply smiled knowingly and said, “Not right now, but maybe later.”
Later was not going to happen either unfortunately, as he was to soon find out. He was about half way through with his drink, when there seemed to be a spat across the room. A young lady had thrown her drink into the face of her companion. This would normally not have kept his attention, but it's also not normal to see a flash of jet black eyes. He knew immediately that this young lady was in a great deal of trouble.
Grabbing his drink, Kyle threw down a twenty dollar bill as he ran out of the building after the couple. As he ran down the street after the demon, he refilled his cup with holy water. The pair entered an alley in front of him and he veered around the corner.
“How about I give you this instead?” He yelled at the demon, as he threw the glass of holy water in his face. Kyle knew this was not going to buy them much time, so he yelled at the girl, “RUN!”

Another round of holy water in the demon's face was enough to cause him to lose focus, and he dropped her so that she fell to the ground in a slump. She rubbed her throat, coughing as she struggled to catch her breath, and it barely registered when her rescuer told her to run. But when her demonic date raised his arm in a sweeping motion and the new guy went flying into the brick wall, she snapped out of it quickly. Kennedy dove between the demon's legs and scrambled to her feet, tipping over a trash can behind her and hoping it would be enough to at least slow the demon down a tiny bit.
Her little trick did seem to take the demon by surprise for just a moment, but it was enough for her to be able to grab the arm of her hero and tug him with her. "Come ON!" she shouted at him, sliding her hand down to grip his, barely taking a second to glimpse at his face as they ran (and thinking that he looked familiar but unable to place him), looking for a suitable place to hide. Normally it might have been easy to get lost in the crowd on a New York city street, but Kennedy didn't feel like blending into the crowd would be enough.
So she pulled the handsome stranger down another alley to the backside of a couple of establishments. Kennedy tried the first door they came to, and when it opened, she led him inside, slamming the door behind her and closing her eyes as she leaned back against it, once again pausing to catch her breath. "Okay, that was too close..." she panted, opening her eyes to see that she had led him into the back dressing room of some theater show. Kennedy's brown eyes scanned the room as she took in the setting... the costume racks, the people rushing around, the drag queens who were sitting at their dressing tables and eyeing her new friend like he was the Catch of the Day...
