Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?

Full Name: Analiese Katharina Rudhart Preferred Name or Nickname:Jade. Original/Canon:Original. Age:Six hundred. Date of Birth:October 29, 1412. Main Character Classification: Demon. Character Type:Black eyed. Power(s):Run of the mill demon powers, and a very persuasive tongue. Sexuality:Bisexual. Side:Neutral. Hometown:Vienna, Austria. Current Residence:Along the California coast, mostly in San Francisco.
Eye Color: Ocean blue. Hair Color: Red. Height: 5’6 Body Type: Thin. Distinguishing Marks: Her skin is the color and texture of flawless porcelain. Tattoos and Piercings: He ears are pierced once. No tattoos. Vehicle (if you wish): She drives a black, 1956 Cadillac.
Personal Style (write a short paragraph): Jade is a classy demon (unlike most demons who whore around in skin tight black leather) and has a never ending obsession with vintage and retro fashion. A former pin up model and queen of the 1960’s silver screen, Jade still carries and dresses herself in the fashion. Pencil skirts, blouses, pretty dresses, sky high stilettos, and her always present ruby red lipstick. Jade is primarily a business woman and dresses herself as one. She is never seen with a single hair out of place and is never seen disheveled. Ever. She has too much pride in herself to not dress her best every day, no matter what to occasion is. The way she dresses and acts draws a fair amount of attention from the people around her- mostly people who are entertained because she looks as if she just walked out of a vintage issue of Playboy. She plays the role of a classy and well dressed woman quite well.
Likes (3 at least): Wine, piano, black and white movies, classic cars, sex, demons, money, vargas girls, chess, corsets, diving, carnivals, fireworks, mysterious men. Dislikes (3 at least): Clutter, being underestimated, weak women, push overs, being lied to, dictatorship, people with no imagination, depression, meat, sweets, wind, hot weather. Strengths (3 at least): Intelligent, persuasive, quick witted, dependable. Weaknesses (3 at least): She has a tendency to act like a child when she doesn’t get her way, impatient, cocky, stuck in the 50’s. Fears: Losing her business and being left with nothing- no money, no house, no friends, nothing. Biggest Secret(s): The only reason she was able to start her business was because of two other demons- Gage, and Lilith. Now that Lilith is dead, a few higher up demons are trying to get a hold of the money making operation, and Jade doesn’t even have full ownership over the only thing that makes her happy and she is sinking more into debt each day.
Personality (write a decent paragraph): In her own words, Jade is the high priestess of hell. She is regal, has lady like manners, and is incredibly well spoken. A business woman by nature, Jade carries a sweet voice that can get her what she wants. Jade is a master of manipulation who doesn’t find using force and scare tactics necessary. Other demons can get so violent, but all Jade needs to do is purr sweet words in a clients ear and bat her big blue eyes at them and they melt for her. She isn’t one to be trusted – even other demons find her untrustworthy because she is always looking for the best deal. Whether it be from a wolf or another demon, Jade is one who would sell her secrets, and her employees, to the highest bidder. She cares about her girls though, mostly. She cares more about herself and making money than she does for the women who work for her.
Jade can get vicious when she doesn’t get her way- in fact, she acts more like a child when she doesn’t get her way, stomping and yelling at whoever will listen, even throwing plates like a young girl having a temper tantrum. She rarely ever loses her temper however, as it would be bad for her image. She thoroughly believes in the statement, “Keep calm and remain fierce.” She is a business woman, a lady and a demon; she doesn’t lost her temper unless something goes terribly wrong, and in her line of work, things usually go wrong. In time, her employees have learned to not piss her off out of fear that she will have their head on a plate and their blood for wine.
Family and Friends: Jade doesn't even remember the names of her parents or her siblings. Rebekah- an orphanage owner who took her in when her parents died. Gage- Jade’s business partner. Enemies and Rivals: Cecilia- The crossroads demon who Jade sold her soul too. Jade isn’t even sure if she is still alive.
History: Jade was born in the 1400’s during the time of the Black Death in Vienna. Her parents died when she was eight years old, and she was taken in by a woman who owned the village orphanage. Jade watched people die around her, seemingly hundreds every day. However, the plague seemed to swirl around her like a hurricane without touching her. People grew suspicious of her as she never grew sick even when everyone else around her was. It seemed as though the innocent child had been touched by the hands of God himself. Even when other children in the orphanage came down with the Bubonic Plague, Jade was perfectly healthy.
At the age of seven when her mother was lying on her death bed, Jade asked her about the angels. Her mother told her than no matter what, the angels would always look out for her, and all she had to do was go looking for one and one would find her. At fourteen when the elderly woman who took Jade in started showing signs of the plague, Jade went looking for an angel to answer her prayers. Something found her and said that she could save the life of the old woman, and all Jade had to do was ask her to. She didn’t ask for any payment from Jade- all she wanted was Jade’s trust and loyalty. Jade agreed to it and the next day the orphanage owner, Rebeckah, was healed. Two years later on the night before Jade’s sixteenth birthday, the angel came calling and told her that it was time for Jade to repay her for her services. Jade refused, and Rebeckah was found dead in her room the next morning.
It occurred to Jade that the supposed angel had done this because Jade had disagreed with her, but Jade didn’t understand how a creation of the Lord could do something so terrible. Jade went looking for the angel again, who revealed herself to be a crossroads demon, and she learned what the true payment for her favor was. All she wanted was Jade’s soul and her unwavering loyalty to do whatever was asked of her. Jade, out of fear of torture and death, agreed to it so long as her fellow orphans would be safe from the plague and moved to London a week later. Once in the city, she was used as the puppet of the demon and was often found making seedy business deals on her knees in the back alleys of London’s filthiest streets. She sold herself for the demon and did what was asked of her, no matter how much her morality disagreed with it.
Ten years after moving to London, Jade, now in her twenties was made aware that her time was running short. She heard through the grapevine that the demon was gathering followers and that her older ones were becoming more obsolete. In a fleeting moment of hope, Jade expected to be able to go back to her normal life- or somewhat normal for the time of the Black Death. The moment washed away when Jade remembered that she had exchanged her soul for her life, and as long as she was living, she wouldn’t be fully living. Jade proclaimed that she would rather be dead than continue to whore herself around London, and she got what she wished for.
In her three hundred years in hell, Jade seethed over what the crossroads demon had done to her, her humanity and her pride hurt by letting herself be used for so many years. A hundred years in, Jade came to realize that the demon had been doing what she had been taught to do- in a way, Jade understood it, but only due to the fact that all human thought and emotion was gone from her once beautiful shell. Three hundred years of torture can do that to a person.
In the early 1950’s in New York, a silly teenage girl performed a summoning ritual to gain magical powers, and in doing so, Jade crawled out of hell to answer the girls call. Jade took possession of her body and rode her into the ground. Jade set out then to do exactly what the demon had done to her; to use the people around her for her own benefit. She took on the persona of an independent business woman, which was a shocking site to see in the 1950’s when every woman was busy being a housewife. She moonlighted as a pinup model for ten years, earning a significant amount of money for herself in the process. She became hungry for the attention that being a pinup model gave her, and for the money. The taste of fame wasn’t enough for her and she became a Hollywood starlet in the 1960’s, embodying old glamour and a fierce attitude and a refusal to be subservient.
The fame and the attention were delicious to her, and little did mortal America know that their favorite starlet wasn’t even human. She had been shunned by the community of demons around her, believing that it could mean unwanted exposure for them if someone accidently found out or if she lost control of herself and accidently broke a table in half. Jade had to agree with them on a certain level, more so due to the fact that she was growing bored of the cameras and the spotlights of Hollywood. She moved north to Napa Valley and invested money into a winery – which she still owns – and settled north of the San Francisco Bay. Wine brought her a considerable profit and she still lived the luxurious life that she had always wanted. In the next thirty years she laid low, only making a stir when she moved to an upscale apartment in San Francisco. She was greeted by a demon there by the name of Gage and the two seemed to be twin souls – if demons have souls. Gage was a young demon with big ideas involving her partnership with Jade.
Circus of the Damned was born in 1985. Initially it only served as a gentleman’s club since prostitution was illegal when there was still government. Jade’s specialty was employing supernatural creatures exclusively- wolves, shifters, and even fallen angels. It amused her that so many human men would flock to her and wouldn’t even know that the dancer they were lusting over wasn’t human. Circus of the Damned was the biggest cache of money that Jade had ever encountered and she gained notoriety both with humans and other supernatural’s as the person to go to if you needed a “special fix.” She was fondly referred to as The Queen of Hearts. Jade never discriminated against the different races either; all of them made money for her, which, at the end of the day, was the ultimate goal.
Circus of the Damned changed dramatically once the end of the world started. Some of her employees left her, some of them died, and her business sank into the gutter. With a silver tongue and a quick mind, Jade decided that she should expand her business- afterall, just because San Francisco was suffering didn’t mean that everyone else was. She stretched her arms all along the California coast, opening three more brothels between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Since it is the end of the world, people are caring less and less for morals and laws, and are looking to have one last ride before the sun explodes, so more and more people are coming to her every day.

Liliya hadn’t known what she had agreed to when she told her Drunk of the Week that she would go camping with him. She supposed that she did need a vacation, but her idea vacation was not one that was going to be spent stuck in a dirty tent on top of a mountain with Damien Monroe of all people. Her ideal vacation instead was one that would be spent in her apartment, alone, with a bathtub full of steaming hot water and a large book; perhaps a bottle of whiskey, or two, depending on whether she was in the drinking mood or not. How she came to be in this camping conundrum, she wasn’t quite sure, but it was the day that they were supposed to meet at the camp ground and it was too late for her to back out now. She had the weakness of being too nice of a person and it would be rude of her to cancel at the last minute. On top of that, her male counterpart would probably whine about it to no end whenever he saw her- while she could handle a drunken Damien, she didn’t know if she could deal with him whining about how she backed out of their camping trip at the last second. Even though she wasn’t exactly looking forward to it, Lily would pull through it, but only due to the copious amount of liquor that was in her rucksack.
As far as she was concerned, her and the Monroe’s relationship was this; she served him alcohol drinks and gave him the occasional flirtatious remark, and on some instances she apparated home with him to make sure he didn’t splinch himself in his stupor. Liliya didn’t find herself to be too forward with him, and she certainly didn’t feel like she opened herself to the invitation of a weekend alone together in some secluded camp ground with him. All in all, it could be deemed as being romantic to anyone who didn’t know that they weren’t attached in that way. She knew that it would most likely be a weekend of drinking, marshmallow roasting and ghost stories, which in all honesty wasn’t that bad. But with Damien Monroe of all people. When Liliya tried to remember exactly how they had made the decision, the instance was a bit fuzzy- she had probably been drinking between shifts with him, which was never a good idea. Liliya gave a frustrated sigh as she packed the last of her clothes into her bag- she had tried to pack as little as possible, but the few bottles of liquor were taking up a fare amount of room. After all, liquor was more important than clothes, at least now it was considering that she was going on a spur of the moment camping trip.
Liliya hoisted the rucksack onto her shoulders with a groan, taking note that a majority of the weight resting on her was alcohol rather than necessities. Clothes were important, but if she was going to get through three days alone in the wilderness with Damien, it was more important that she was liquored up a majority of the time. She did have to give him credit for being a nice guy- nice enough to spend a weekend away with a random bartender that he barely knew personally. For all Liliya knew, the guy probably wanted to get in her pants, but she was choosing to remain oblivious to that until the occasion called for it. They had arranged to meet at the camp ground rather than at the bottom of the mountain- it was more convenient, and Lily wasn’t prepared just yet for hiking up the mountain. Besides, she probably couldn’t navigate her way up the mountain to the camp ground in the first place.
With a rush, Liliya apparated to a clearing that she guessed was Blackstone Camping Grounds. There were small cabins dotted between the trees and farther away there was a circle of off-white tents along with, what looked like, a booth where campers were meant to check in. Lily took a glance at her watch as she headed off towards the man, dark eyes taking in the various other people that were camping around the clearing. It was then that Lily realized that she might have gotten in over her head with this whole camping thing, and she contemplated apparating back to her apartment, but she reached the staff member before giving herself the opportunity. ”Hello. Um.. plot for two. The name should be under Petrova.” she told him a bit uneasily, and he scanned down the parchment that was clutched between his aging hands. ”Ah, yes. This way please.” he replied to her, leading her away to the other edge of the camp ground. Lily caught her lower lip between her teeth and followed behind him, adjusting her pack as she went.
”Right here, miss.” the wizard spoke to her again, drawing her away from her thoughts of running away before Damien got there. Lily looked down at the plot, finding, not to her surprise, nothing there. She had taken the liberty of asking Damien to bring their tent seeing as how she had everything else with her; she didn’t want to task him with too much out of fear that he would forget something and wind up at the camp ground with nothing but that stupid grin on his face. ”Thanks.” Lily told him with a small smile as she slid the rucksack off her shoulders and onto the ground. Lily tied the earth uncertainly with the toe of her boot and dropped down, sitting next to her bag. Giving a short and impatient sigh, she pulled the leather bag into her lap and unzipped it, feeling around inside of it for a bottle of water. She found it at the bottom, stashed deep in between bottles of sherry and bags of fluffy, white marshmallows. Yes, it was going to be a long weekend.
