Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?

He strives to maintain the picture of perfection that his father has deemed necessary of his heir. He finds that oftentimes after hours, the ties and suits start to chafe at him physically and emotionally.
After hours, Kyle opts for comfort clothes, sweats and a t-shirt if it's a night at home with his sister or jeans and a nice button down shirt for a night on the town. His style outside of work varies depending on where he finds himself. Lately, as he has been traveling around chasing leads, he has made a habit of jeans and t-shirts, opting for comfort and ease in his travels.

Biggest Secret(s): He has never admitted this to anyone, but he has no desire to run the CallaTech and if he has his way, he would sell the company and walk away from what cost his father his life.
Personality (write a decent paragraph): Kyle has been the epitome of a rich playboy in the past, living up the high life with women and fast cars. His actions were more of a cry for attention from his father, than anything else. Kyle certainly found no satisfaction in the relationships he had with the women in his life, aside from his mother and sister. He wanted desperately for his father to accept him for who he was, not for who his father was trying to mold him into being.
Since his father's death, Kyle's nightlife has taken on a vastly different tone as he now spends late hours searching for any leads in the supernatural realm. Something inside of him knows that his father's death was not the accident the police claim it to be, he saw what happened after all. Kyle does not mind using whatever means necessary to gain the information he wants. Though he might learn more than he ever bargained for.
Family and Friends: Phillip Edmond Callaghan – father – deceased Victoria Lilian Callaghan – mother Sophia Lauren Callaghan – sister - 25
Enemies and Rivals: Business rivals that his father had made throughout the years, but none of consequence at the moment
History: Kyle is the eldest child and only son of Phillip and Victoria Callaghan. His childhood was fairly uneventful, full of normal child hijinks and scuffles after his younger sister was born and caused all sorts of headaches in his life as little sisters are likely to do. The Callaghan's were very wealthy and their children did not lack for much materialistically. His mother stayed home while his father ran the family business, CallaTech. Things had been running smoothly for several years, but at some point in his high school years, the market took a turn and CallaTech was in trouble.
Kyle watched as his mother fretted herself day and night about how they were going to make it through this time and his father's temper became shorter as time stretched on. Their family was holding on by a thread. It was shortly before Kyle's graduation from high school that the business seemed to pick back up with an intriguing fervor. Things were starting to look up for the Callaghan family, at least financially. His father seemed more stressed and distant than he ever had before. There was more talk of Kyle learning the business so that he could take over one day. Any talk from Kyle of not wanting to enter into the business was met with hostility.
It wasn't until many years and tears later that Kyle understood where his father's frustrations were coming from. He had left the office, late like he had for the past several months since graduating from college and entering into the business, when he realized that he had left his phone in his father's office. As he neared his father's office, he heard terrible screams and opened the door to find his father being ripped to shreds before his eyes by some invisible thing. No one believed his reports, it was written off as post traumatic stress or some such nonsense. He was not crazy, he knew that his father had not been attacked by an animal, at least not an ordinary animal, like the reports claimed. How the animal supposedly got into an upper level office unseen was never answered, but no one seemed to doubt the story.
It was shortly after this, that Kyle began researching the supernatural. He still is unsure of what exactly happened, but he hopes to one day find someone that can help him understand what he saw. Much to the Board of Trustees chagrin, Kyle will take long sabbaticals from work to pursue a lead, claiming it is for business. While they do not openly question his actions at this point, there have been slight grumblings in the company about this behavior. Some are worried that he cannot live up to his father's legacy.

Looking down at his watch, Kyle cursed under his breath at the time. Another late night and Lauren was going to kill him. She had planned on them having a movie night like they used to do when they were younger, before things had gotten complicated in their lives.
No such luck, he thought as he walked into the parking garage at CallaTech. His father had kept him up here learning all of the details of running the company, not that he really cared about running the company. There was no getting out of this however, this had been made perfectly clear to Kyle many times.
He was almost to his car when he reached into his pocket, intent on texting Lauren and telling her he was on his way home with treats. However, his pocket was empty, he remembered that he had put in some dates on the calendar while talking with his father, and he must have left the phone sitting on his desk when his father had rather briskly insisted he leave after getting an unusual expression on his face.
As he turned around, Kyle realized that his father had acted a bit strange all night, as if Kyle learning to run the company was of vital importance and he must learn it immediately. Oh well, it was probably just that Kyle was not learning as quickly as his father expected.
He punched in the floor number on this elevator, listening to the awful music as he leaned against the wall.
As the door to the elevator opened, Kyle heard his father's voice raised in alarm as he screamed for something to go away. Running to his father's office, Kyle threw open the doors just in time to see his father thrown down and his shirt and chest ripped open in front of his eyes by something that Kyle could not see.
He did not remember anything after this, but he must have called 911 as emergency workers and police showed up shortly after, asking him questions that he did not want to answer. No one seemed to believe his answers anyways, so why did they keep asking him questions. He wanted to go home and forget this ever happened, but this was something that Kyle would never forget.
