Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!

Original/Canon: Original Age: 23 Date of Birth: May 1st 1989 Main Character Classification: Human Character Type: Not very experienced hunter Power(s): N/A Sexuality: Straight Side: Good (though she is miss guided) Hometown: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Current Residence: When not on the road, Hayley lives with her “uncle” Tim in Philadelphia.

Personal Style (write a short paragraph): Hayley has a bit of a mixed style. She loves wearing short dresses and some high heels. However, she knows from experience that it is not suitable cloth on a hunt. When hunting, Hayley wears a pair of slightly baggy pants, a lose blouse (often with some print) or tank top, some comfortable running shoes and her faux leather jacket. Around her neck, Hayley always wears a cross that she got from her parents. Mostly Hayley wears earthy colors mixed some different tones of scarlet or deep red, when she is hunting. When she is not on a hunt, her clothing is feminine and has brighter colors. She always wears make-up, but she hates overdoing it and she makes sure it always looks natural (sometimes with a touch of glitter, but never too much). Her hair is often lose, but when she hunts, it is gathered in a lose ponytail. Even though she can seem like it, Hayley is not a brand snoop.
Likes:
Her brother Evan (of course)
Hot chocolate
A hot bath after a hunt (prefers bath tubs)
Reading
Helping people (makes her feel good about herself)
Music (it also helps her staying awake when she is driving at night)
Dislikes: Sleeping in the car
Non-diet coke
Motels (especially the cheap ones)
People calling her Munchkin
Jerks or guys who are a little too cocky for their own good; she finds these types rather annoying.
Hayley hates to admit that she has been defeated (or having to give up).
Strengths: Her photographic memory makes it easier to do protecting signs and demon traps etc. because she only needs to see them once or twice to remember them (sometimes, however, she can’t remember what the different signs do).
She is a fast (when running)
Reading and Reciting Latin
Weaknesses: She can’t cook, even if her life depends on it
Her brother. Since they were children, Hayley has looked up to her brother and often if he asks for something, she gives it to him (like with her first hunt).
Her temper and her naivety.
She can’t swim and is terrified of water where she can’t see or touch the bottom.
Fears: The death of her brother or Tim
That a hunter, or her brother, finds out that she helped her ex-boyfriend, the demon Stephan, fake his own death.
Water (Hydrophobia)
Biggest Secret(s): Hayley helped her ex-boyfriend, Stephan (a demon), fake his own death, so no hunter would come after him, because he is a demon.
Personality: Hayley is really smart for a girl her age, but she tends to be occupied with her own thoughts and therefore she often seems a little ditzy or slow. She is generally warm and welcoming to people she meets and this is mainly because of her upbringing. Even though Hayley’s father was a pastor she doesn’t believe in God, since she lost her faith after her father and mother were killed. Hayley is determined, and if she gets an idea or works on a case, she finds it difficult to give up, even if it is the right thing to do. Hayley also has a bad temper, and in difficult situations she can get pretty mean. Even though she doesn’t believe in God, she still stays true to most of her upbringing, as she feels doing otherwise would be against the wish of her parents. When on a hunt, Hayley has a hard time sleeping and this affects her mood in a negative way. She is pretty naïve and believes in the good in people (even demons). Despite her naivety, she is also paranoid, because she knows of some of the evil in this world. She often wears a necklace with a cross, as it was a gift from her parents. She is a loyal and trust that people returns her loyalty, and she gets really disappointed when she is let down. She tends to take insults personal and can be a little emotional, this of course makes her easy to hurt.
Family and Friends: Hayley had a father, Gregory Rogers, who died along with her mother, Alice Rogers, in the summer of 2008. She also has an older brother, Evan David Rogers (born December 21st, 1987). When their parents died, Evan and Hayley were helped by their father’s former partner, “uncle” Tim Warren. Tim was generous enough to open his home to the siblings, and Hayley lives there when she is not hunting (or when she is near Philadelphia, PA).
Enemies and Rivals: Asariel, the angel who, according to Hayley, abducted her brother (but really he is just using her brother as a vessel).
History: Hayley lived with her brother and parents in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Their father was a Lutheran pastor and their mother worked at an orphanage in Allentown. Both Hayley and her brother were doing well in school and had a lot of friends.
Hayley’s father was very gentle and tried to raise his children as modern Christians. They were not forced to go to church and they were always told that even if they decided to turn their back on religion, he would not get mad or reject them, as he didn’t want to force them into the arms of God.
Hayley and her brother’s world turned upside down one day when their parents were found murdered in the family’s home, only one week after Evans graduation. At the police station they were picked up by an old friend of the family, “Uncle” Tim, who helped them get a motel room. Tim had come to town because of a job he needed to take care of, but he really didn’t want to talk about it. One evening, 2 nights after the murder, Evan sneaked after Tim to find out what the mysterious job was. He watched in horror while Tim exorcised the demon that had killed their parents. Evan told Hayley all of this, and together they confronted Tim. Tim told them about the hunters and of some of the wild hunts he and their father had been on in their wild youth. Hayley had a hard time dealing with all of this, and she refused to speak to Tim again after he had left town. But Evan handled it differently, and he often called Tim to hear about his hunts and to help him out where he could (mostly by researching on the computer).
One day Tim stopped answering the phone and Evan got worried, he therefore decided to go searching for him (much against Hayley’s will). That night Hayley and Evan had a big fight because Hayley didn’t want to join what she referred to as “Evan’s suicide mission” and Evan left town in anger.
Hayley graduated from senior high and started working at a café. At that time she hadn’t spoken to Evan for several months, and she had started a life of her own. She lived with her new boyfriend Stephan and was saving some money so that she could get an education. When Evan finally called, it was because he needed help with a case in Fountain Hill, a city nearby, and though she was reluctant, this became Hayley’s first hunt. It was a haunting and Hayley was shocked at her own calmness when they burned the remains. She asked Evan about the search for Tim and Evan told her that their “uncle” was well and lived in Philadelphia. Hayley decided to call Tim to hear about what had happened to him. Tim told Hayley that he had been hunting something called a Djinn and that he nearly died. After ending the call, Hayley had a feeling that Tim had changed in some way and in her mind something told her that the clash with the Djinn-thing was the reason for this change (later Hayley discovered that that Tim had retired from hunting after the Djinn-episode. This was because of the emotional traumas he gained from the hallucination from the Djinn poison).
Meanwhile, Stephan was everything she had always wanted, even though they didn’t have sex (as Pre-marital intercourse is against her upbringing), it seemed like he loved Hayley with all of his hart. And Stephan completely understood that Hayley wanted to wait with the sex-thing until they got married. One day a hunter broke in to their home and tried to kill Stephan, but Stephan was too fast for the hunter and killed him with his demonic powers. This freaked Hayley out, and Stephan lured her to help him fake his own death, by convincing her that not all demons were evil and that he was one of the good guys.
Six months after Stephan had left, Evan called and told Hayley he was in trouble. They agreed to meet the next morning at Hayley’s apartment, but Evan never showed up. When the police found Evans car, it was abandoned in Scholl Woodlands Preserve, and Hayley knew that something was wrong. She started investigating the area around the abandoned car, knowing some of the things that she needed to look for, like sulfur and the likes (proof of demonic activity). Hayley didn’t find anything, and the police wouldn’t give her permission to search the car. Not long after the car was found, Hayley found Evan’s journal and cell phone not far from where the car was found. By the time she had finished reading the journal, she decided to go hunting for whatever had taken Evan. The first clue in the journal was a mentioning of “uncle” Tim’s address in Philadelphia, which Hayley decided to visit the following day.
“Uncle” Tim was pleased to see her and sad about what she had to say about Evan. Tim told about the last time Evan had visited him. Evan had been hearing voices and kept talking about angels talking to him, and they wanted him to agree to help them. Tim, who did not believe in angels, tried to calm Evan down, but it only got worse. Hayley told about the journal and the cell phone, and she also confessed her secret about Stephan to her “uncle”. Tim became really upset about Hayley’s naïve action and told her that a demon was never to be trusted, no matter what. Tim decided to help Hayley with her search for Evan, but he had to help her from home because he still refused to hit the road, and thought of himself as too old to hunt (which Hayley thought was as a lame excuse).
Hayley liked the life on the road, and enjoyed reading Evan’s journal, as she somehow felt closer to her father, brother and “uncle”. The life on the road made her feel independent and strong (and she liked that nobody complained over her Enrique Iglesias CD). As the days became a week, and weeks turned in to a month, Hayley missed her life with Stephan and her job at the café. She started to have her doubt about the warning from Tim. Maybe the line between good and evil was not black and white, but gray? Stephan had had plenty of opportunities to kill her or hurt her, but he hadn’t. And if angels were real, it was no guarantee that all of them were good, one of them had possibly abducted her brother.
Hayley knew that she didn’t get anywhere with digging up bodies and burning bones, but she liked helping civilians if she could. When she found harmful demons that terrorized humans, Hayley used the chance to interrogate them to get information about angels before she exorcised them and even though she had only interrogated 3 lesser demons so far, they had confirmed to her that angels existed and that they were extremely powerful beings. Because of her naïve personality trait, Hayley developed her own view of the world; she only hunted creatures, that harmed humans and even if she met a demon, she was willing to give them a chance to prove themselves (or she has so far).
Other Details You'd Like to Add: Last time I applied for this characters, the staff had some concerns about my ideas for her (as they were afraid she would show out to be a half angel or pregnant with a demon). My idea for her is to have a hunter, who can question the lines between good and evil and who can see the things from another perspective than the usual hunter view we see in supernatural oh and yes I would like to make it clear; Asariel is good, Stephan is evil, Hayley just got it all wrong.

RP Sample (required): Hayley slammed the door of the car; she had just talked to “uncle” Tim on the phone and the conversation had not been a good one. He had spoken to one of his old hunter friends, who had told him that Evan had been spotted few days ago in Seattle. Hayley sighed deeply; Seattle was in another state, and even if she drove nonstop, it would at least take 2 days - and by that time he could be anywhere. The thought made her head ache and she knew that only a cup of hot chocolate could cure her bad mood.
She went to the nearest café and ordered a large cup of hot chocolate. As soon as the waitress had left her table, she found Evans journal in her purse. She opened it and started reading some of the last pages again. When the waitress returned to her with her hot chocolate, Hayley didn’t notice her. She had reached the missing page in the book, the part about Asariel, who apparently was an angel of the Lord. Hayley was afraid that Evan had lost his mind. Demons were one thing, but angels? She had seen much in the past year since she left Bethlehem, but angels were still hard to believe in; anything good was hard to believe at this point.
Later that evening, at the motel room, Hayley opened Evan’s journal for the third time that day, and once again the missing page really annoyed her - something important was written on that page, she knew that. She leaned back on the bed and closed her eyes for a second, and she didn’t notice the sound of the journal dropping to the floor.
A little noise woke her from her sleep and Hayley fumbled for the light switch. A warm hand stopped her and a familiar voice spoke to her in an unfamiliar tone, “I didn’t mean to wake you up”. The blood in her veins froze as she recognized the voice of Evan, her brother. “Evan? Evan is that you?” Hayley sat up and saw the outline of her brother in the darkness. “I promised him that he could see you” Evan’s voice answered. Something was weird about it; it didn’t sound Evan-ish, it sounded more clearly articulated and sort of solemn. “Who are you?” she asked, afraid to hear the answer. “My name is Asariel, I am an angel of the Lord. I promised your brother that I would visit you and that he could see you this one time. It was his only condition for being my vessel”. The angel lit the lamp. “I must tell you not to go looking for your brother. I will return his body as soon as I can. But for your own fault, keep away from us” This time the angel had made Evan’s voice strict, and it scared Hayley. “I can’t just leave him…” Hayley protested and looked up at where the angel had stood beside the bed, but he was gone. Hayley felt the anger boil inside of her. How dared this Asariel-person tell her to leave her brother behind?
Hayley grasped her cell phone and stumbled out of the bed. While she dialed the number, her brain tried to process what had just happened. The tired voice of her uncle brought her back to reality and Hayley didn’t give him a chance to ask why she had called him this late. “Evan… Tim, Evan was here. No I’m serious” she said and suddenly felt awake and alert. “He called himself Asriel or something” Hayley spoke fast and nearly stumbled over the words. No it was wrong, how had Evan pronounced it? “Assasiel… No wait… something like that… Yes the same name in the diary” she explained her father’s old friend. “I don’t know… No, I’m sure it wasn’t just a dream. No I’m sober. Tim, stop it!” Hayley started to get annoyed. “No he kind of… left” Hayley said and the tone in her voice told that she was sad to lose her brother again. “Okay call me if you hear something. I call you tomorrow” She mumbled and hung up.
Hayley was awake the rest of the night. She sat in the sill of the window on her motel room, the rest of the night. Her mind still found it hard to make sense of Evan’s words; He had said something about seeing her one last time. She felt sick to her stomach by the thought of losing her brother.
