Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!
I know I haven't been on a lot but I won't be one for a while.
Last night (Monday) at about 6:30pm my dad was in a bicycle wreck. He hit his head really hard and has swelling to the brain. He was rushed to a hospital and then air care took him to another hospital for brain surgery to remove part of his skull. He went into surgery about 11 last night and was out at about 12 this morning (Tuesday). He is currently stable in ICU hooked up to machines. I haven't seen him yet but I am today.
I don't know when I'll be back. I'll be able to come on for some moments but my family, especially my mom, is going to need me during this whole thing.
I'm sorry to hear that hun. I'll definitely be sending good thoughts your way. Take your time and I hope your dad gets better. We're around if you need us. <3
Thanks guys He made it through the first 24 hours. The next 72 are ciritical. We need your thoughts and prayers more than anything right now. He did open his eyes (wasn't able to see(which is normal)) and moved his arms and legs which is very good.
It's all good news and I hope things continue to improve. You're in my thoughts and I hope you and you're family are doing okay and looking after yourselves, too. We'll be here for you when you get back *hugs*
Having a parent in the hospital sucks so much. My mom was in the hospital not too long ago. You and your family are in my thoughts. I wish your dad a wonderful recovery.
Thanks everyone. It means so much to me, my family, and my dad when he wakes up.
I have a very happy update
Dad opened his eyes and looked at me when they pulled him out of sedation and he squeezed the nurses hand. They are going try to take him off the respirator tomorrow but the doctor thinks realistically he'll be off it Monday or Tuesday. The prayers are working. Please keep them coming
Dad was moved to rehab on Monday May 23. He is already almost walking on his own and eating almost all his food. The other night was his first meal in over 14 days. He was on the feeding tube before but it's not really a meal. His nurses in ICU called him a miracle. He doesn't remember what happened and probably never will. Prayers and good vibes are working so please keep them coming. It's a long road ahead of us and moving Dad to rehab was a giant step towards recovery.
