Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!

Chad frowned as the frosty wind whipped across his face. He knew his bottle of whiskey wasn't going to last him through the night. It was far too cold and his bottle of Jack was much too close to being empty.
Chad held the bottle up to the moonlight and frowned. It was going to be a long, cold night if he decided to stay here, curled up in the space between the dumpster and the cold cinderblock wall of the convenience store. Taking another swig of his whiskey, Chad tried to replay the events of the evening to determine the time.
It was after 11. He knew that for sure because the convenience store was closed. A replay of his excapades at the bar put him at midnight, plus the time it took to get him to where he was. Chad pinned the time at 12:30 or at least somewhere close to that. There's still time, Chad thought to himself. It's rare to catch a hitch between 1:30am and 4:00am, but as for right now, he still had time.
Chad took a final swig from his bottle and tossed it into the air over his shoulder and smiling as he heard the glass shatter against the frozen, rust-metal of the dumpster. Without booze to keep him warm, Chad was more determined than ever to find a hitch.
Chad gathered himself and zippered up his duffel bag. His bag felt light tonight without it's resident whiskey bottle. Chad ran his fingers through his greasy hair in an attempt to make himself look somewhat presentable. Despite his desperate need for a shower and a change of clothes, Chad still had a glimmer in his eye and a contagious, boyish charm about him.
Scuffling his feet, Chad emerged from behind the dark convenience store and made his way to the road. The cold night air was frigid and forced him to hug his drab green, army jacket tighter around his thin frame and to shove his hands in his pockets. It was no use freezing his thumb off when there wasn't even a car on the road. He could see a car coming for miles anyway.
And so Chad began to trudge, kicking up dust on the side of the dark road, waiting for a lonely, late night ride to come along. And if he didn't find a rid, he resolved to walk until dawn. At least sleeping in sunlight was warmer than this frosty hell of a night.

Blair cracked her neck as she focused on the road or atleast tried to. She had been driving in her black El Comino for ten hours. Her eyes were blood shot from lack of sleep from the night before because someone had called her to a home far away, in the need of help. A Mother was concerned about what her Daughter could see the Dead.Something that would be alarming to another was not to Blair.
Since she was little she had always seen the dead, something she had considered a gift. But to another it could be called a curse. Nights of sleepness were frequent caused by the constant buggings by the ones would had past on and even in the daylight they came. Some spirits were more presistant than others and others left as soon as they got what they wanted. Most of them were good but Blair dealt with the more evil ones. She had learned to expell them to make sure they didn't come back and bother someone again.
Over the years her horizon of evil things have expanded to a wide arrangement. There isn't anything Blair can't dispose of but her speciality was Ghosts and Demons. Since she was raised by a Nun there were things she picked up like how to exorcise someone. With was rewarding in the fact you saved someone trapped in their own bodies.
Blair did things for the good of man not for her own selfish needs. But people often tried to take advantage of her goodness so now she's a little more aware and less naïve. Her hand reached to the heater and blasted it, she was a Texan the cold was like krponite to her. That's why she spent the winter down souch and the summer in Maine. Blair goes where the warmth is that's why she was excited to be traveling towards the south.
Her eyes looked ahead and saw nothing but road and maybe an occassional business. But in the distance she saw someone moving as she got closer she realized he was a hitch hiker. Blair was nice but was she willing to take the risk of someone in her car. No. At first wanted to drive past him but in her short glimpse she saw he was freezing. Her guilt caused her to slam on her brakes and reach over and open her car door to her El Camino. Blair stared at him firmly and her accent was heavy, “Get in, if you try anything funny I WILL kick your ass and dump you on the side of the rode. Understood?”
She tipped her head at the man,”I'm Blair and you are?”

Chad had been walking for what felt like hours, though in reality, it was probably only about 45 minutes, when a car's headlights finally appeared in the distance. He perked up a bit and, as the car got closer, held out his thumb into the freezing air.
The car was approaching fast and for a minute or so, Chad wasn't sure that the car was going to stop at all. He wouldn't have been surprised if it just kept driving. It happened pretty regularly and it made sense, people (especially women) driving alone in the middle of the night usually didn't want to invite a stranger into their car for safety reasons. Chad knew he couldn't blame them. Chad couldn't help but grin at the promise of warmth though when the car slammed on it's brakes just a little past him.
“Get in, if you try anything funny I WILL kick your ass and dump you on the side of the rode. Understood?”
In all the years that Chad had been hitching back and forth across the country, he could honestly say that he had never been greeted with a threat. Now, Chad wasn't sure that this kind of sweet looking woman could hurt him, but he didn't want to take any chances. People weren't always as they seemed. He knew that for sure.
Chad nodded a thank you and climbed into the warm, passenger seat of the car.
"I'm Blair and you are?"
"I'm Chad. Nice to meet you." Chad dropped his duffel bag onto the floor between his feet and rubbed his hands together in front of the heating vent. "So, where are you headed?"
Although Chad never really had any place that he was going, except for the few times he decided that there was some place he wanted to be, he still liked to know where he was headed. Even though it didn't matter, it at least provided a platform for small talk.
Chad smiled kindly at the brunette. "Thanks for the lift, by the way. I really appreciate it. Tonight was a cold one." By that point, Chad had sobered up and the cold really had been getting the better of him.

Blair eyed the hitchhiker with skepectism before he climbed in can't be too careful these days. With all the things she hunts she is more afraid of a human being. Which made sense in her mind than opposed to anyone else oblivious to the fact of the supernatural. When he did climb in Blair carefully eyed him to determine if he was a threat or not. He wasn't, she sighed a sense of relief.
He introduced himself and dropped his thing on the floor infront of him rubbing his hands infront of the warmth that came out of the vent. The texan smiled and nodded in head in respect, “It's nice to meet you as well. I'm headed towards Santa Fe, Mexico but pretty soon I'll be stopping at a Motel I've been driving for quite a while.”
She eyed Chad he had been out in the cold for a while now. Her hand reached over the seat and she felt around for a blanket before she gently tossed it at him. Blair adjusted in her seat before she started driving down the road again. Her eyes were focused on the road and she glanced at him for a second. He smiled kindl at her and thanked her. Blair waved her left hand, “ It's no problem, it's cold out there and that town was a shithole I couldn't leave someone out in that. “
Blair rubbed the cross that was on her rosary as she kept her eyes on the road. She was rather awkward around those she didn't know but once you got to know her more ….you couldn't get her to be quiet. Her delecate hand pointed to the glove box,”There is some beef jerky in there if you are hunger. How long have you been traveling for?”
The medium has been moving state to state for quite some time. She liked seeing different places and she liked going somewhere new. Blair really didn't have much family so it was never a hassle to leave someone behind. It had been a while since she had seen her Father.
After her business in Santa Fe Blair made a mental note to stop by and see how everything was. He was a man that would contact her if he needed her. Nor was he really sentimental which is probably why she wasn't hounding him every day. Blair was detached from the world and she was semi okay with it.
