Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!

-Outside of the Roadhouse but moving to Las Vegas-
You can do this, you can do this…
It seems that’s all that Ren had been able to tell herself since she got the news from Ellen about exactly what she had been called in to help with. She was willing of course, hell had the girl been asked to go this alone she would have, but she hadn’t and the fact that she had not only Castiel (an Angel!) but Blair along with her made her feel more comforted and sure. On the other hand the fact that they had put her with a more experienced hunter and an angel might say they didn’t have much faith in her abilities, but really who could blame them. To date the young hunter had one real kill on her record and that, to be honest, was an accident (vampire, grab, spin around, machete in hand, head get chopped, whoops).
Two things she was grateful for was the fact that she had a few stolen moments of affection (even though as soon as she saw the trench coat wearing angel she was sure those stolen moments were going to lead to him pointing at her and condemning her for all to see for her recent immorality) to strengthen her heart and a four legged partner who she knew would not let her down. Not that she thought that Blair or Cas would let her down but there was something to be said about the familiarity of a partner, no matter how furry it may be.
She pulled out her hiking pack with her search and rescue gear in it, in case things went bad she’d want the ability to help pull innocent lives out of the aftermath, but she knew if they did their job that rescue wouldn’t be an issue.
Reaching back into the car she pulled out a rucksack, tucking into it her bow, arrows, holy water flask, salt, hunters journal, rifle, box of salt rounds, and box of regular shells out, tucking them all away into the sack, her rifle secured with ties below. As she locked up the jeep, petting it a moment, she stopped and got down on her knees, clasping her hands in front of her a moment and bowing her head.
“God, it’s me Ren Mercer, I know I don’t talk to you as much as I should lately, I know I don’t do as much as you ask me to, and I should I know. You have given me such blessings with keeping me alive, giving me Hunter to watch over me, helping me to find people like Bobby, Greg, Alexis, and Brody. Thank you for putting enough faith in me to let me meet Castiel. All I ask is now that you watch over us all as we go to do your work Lord and keep us safe in your hands. If any of us should fall Lord lift us up to your eternal life and let our loved ones know that we are safe with you. Let our blades be sharp, our arrows fly true, and our bullets hit the mark. Most of all Lord, let us stand knowing that you stand with us. In your name I ask this, Amen.”
Crossing herself she got up off her knees, walking over to Cas, hiking pack on her shoulder and rucksack in her hand with Hunter sitting at her feet. She looked up at him with a gentle smile, eyes full of conviction.

Her mind was racing, this was a big responsibility.... A whole town rested apon three shoulders, she was thankful for the other group members an angel of heaven and a search and rescue specialist. Blair had faith in them, it was only her she doubted in. Sure she was a veteran hunter but she had never done anything this big, this was big boy territory. However she knew she had to pull it together because it wasn't her that was just up for stake it was Vegas and the world. If these seals were broken it would be very bad. Some things should definitely stay in hell and Blair was gonna make damn sure that happened. In fact she was on her way to the meet up point Ren had chosen for the group.
But Blair suddenly stopped at a church that oddly looked like the one she was raised in, the doors even creeked the same way. Her boots were loud enough for to hear. The hunter knelt before the cross and followed through on the holy trinity sign. She gently whispered, “Dear Lord, I have been faithful to you all my life. All I ask is you help guide me today, save those innocent lives that hang in the balance, and most importantly please keep my fellow hunters safe. There is a tough road ahead but I have faith in you. Amen. “
Blair suddenly rose and went over to lit a prayer candle. Before leaving she bowed and once again did the trinity sign. Once her little pitstop was done, she was back on the road, it was long before she was a the pitstop and her car was parked. Her hands brushed against the things dangling from the mirror and she took an amulet off and placed it around her neck. It was her Mother's, it was a medal to keep evil away. She did a silent prayer asking for her Mother to be her guardian before grabbing a leather bag and a leather coat. Each thing was filled with weapons that would help them.
Once Blair made it to the team she nodded towards them. Her hand extended out to them, “ I'm Blair. I've been a medium for almost all my life and a trance medium for 14 years. I started to train for being a hunter when I was 14. "
She cleared her throat, "Sorry for the long introduction but I feel it would be better if we knew each other a little more. “

Castiel knew Ren was nervous. He could tell by how she was behaving, and it was pretty obvious she was knew at this. Still…Castiel was glad to be put with the two people he felt were best for this task. Castiel wondered how Sam and Dean would do without him, Bobby too…though he knew Bobby was put in charge of research. Still, when he heard Ren’s prayer it made him smile a bit. Some people still had Faith and to that, it meant a lot to him. Castiel still had faith in his Father, but he also doubted a little too. He wondered why his Father wasn’t helping them with this. Why was he allowing this to happen? And worse…Castiel knew some of the angles might be behind some of this. Though he didn’t have proof…yet. He was iffy about being back in Heaven, and he had hoped to stay on Earth a very long time. At least until this was over.
Castiel saw Ren as she walked over to them and he smiled at her, “I heard your prayer,” he said to her. “My Father did too…” he added softly. He had wished that he could be more clear with that, but he couldn’t. The thing was, he wasn’t POSITIVE God heard her, but he knew that he might have, so he wasn’t really lying. “We will be fine,” he told Ren, “I assure you,” he hoped he was right. He only prayed he was right.
Castiel heard Blair’s prayer as well. It was funny how he was stuck with two very faithful hunters, and after being with Sam and Dean, this was a switch. Though Sam prayed more then Dean had, although probably not much lately. Still though…. Castile nodded at Blair as she introduced herself, “My name is Castiel,” he said to her and Ren both, “I have heard both your prayers, and I assure you we will be fine,” he said hoping he was right once again.
Castiel too, was worried about the other hunters, though he also had said prayers for them as well. He only wished he could sneak up on Sam and Dean and check on them, but he knew that would be impossible.
“I am ready to go if you are,’ He said to the girls. He knew that he wasn’t the ‘chatty type’ and he was with two females, so he proved this to be interesting. At least, he thought….Still…he had to help them out and he had to be there with them, so he wanted to assure their safety. He had a lot on his shoulders right now. Not only did he have to maek sure they were safe, but he had to make sure they carried out this…mission that they were on.
“The 66 seals, if they break…. It will be disastrous…” Castiel reminded them. “We can not allow this to happen, so I am grateful that all these hunters are gathered here to stop this,” he said “The angels have been trying, but we have been winning some and loosing some…for now it seems we are loosing…” he said honestly. “I am relieved to see some of the humans step up and attempt to stop this with us…” he said “I only wish my brothers would be more helpful,” he said honestly.

“I'm Blair. I've been a medium for almost all my life and a trance medium for 14 years. I started to train for being a hunter when I was 14.”
It wasn’t until Blair had said something that it had occurred to Ren she hadn’t introduced herself, maybe it was because she was now so used to just falling into situations that probably contained certain death and would introduce herself mid….well she liked to think it was mid trying to save the day but mostly it had been mid getting herself beat up, which seemed to serve a purpose of distracting what ever evil thing was doing the beating enough so that the honest to goodness heroes could swoop in and finish evil off, well besides that one time with the vampire and she still felt kinda sorry for the vampire about that accidental decapitation. Well she knew Cas and well, Angel of the Lord and all in her book meant he was pretty much all knowing, all seeing, and all powerful (except in finding relics in old churches which she excused by thinking perhaps God hadn’t wanted it found because it wasn’t their job). So now she turned to Blair, holding her hand out to the girl, bright smile on her face.
“I’m Ren, Ren Mercer. I work in Search and Rescue with my partner Hunter and I’ve been a hunter myself for going on three years now.”
Her head nodding to the beagle at her side who was more than happy to just sit there looking between them all, wagging his tail. Ren nodded to Cas, making sure that she didn’t forget introducing her angelic friend either.
“This is Castiel, he’s an Angel of the Lord which means, I’m sure, that we have nothing to worry about.”
Having faith in Cas, more than herself apparently, she nodded to Blair, then looked over as Cas spoke, listening quietly, a soft frown coming over her features at his words.
“I only wish my brothers would be more helpful,”
“Hey Castiel, we all do what we can do, who knows maybe by us standing up all together it might show them that it’s time to be helpful too?”
A small shrug was all she could give with her words of encouragement before nodding to him, picking up her pack in one arm, Hunter in the other, the other gear of hers on her back already.
“I’m ready to go when you both are, I say we get there, grab a hotel room, pop open that folder, and come up with a plan.”
Taking the initiative was not normally her way but she sensed that with Castiel perhaps a more direct route was needed, perhaps a clear path, where with Blair, if the other hunter with obviously more experience than her stepped up to the plate she’d back down in deference of that ability, but clearly she was glad that she had these two on her team.
