Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!
Bella said she didn't have a boyfriend, and revealed that her last boyfriend had left her for another woman three years ago. That irritated Greg. He hated it when guys screwed girls over that way. Plenty of women had done it to him, but it seemed guys did it more often. And Greg thought maybe he'd deserved to be treated that way a few times.
"I'm sorry to hear that," he said. It was true he was glad to hear she was single, but he didn't like that she'd been hurt.
She said she was glad it was over between her and her ex, but seemed a bit pained about it. "Bad guy?" Greg asked, not wanting to push the issue too much.
"I'm sorry to hear that," he said. It was true he was glad to hear she was single, but he didn't like that she'd been hurt.
"It's alright." she told him with a smile "Like I said it has been three years."
She said she was glad it was over between her and her ex, but seemed a bit pained about it. "Bad guy?" Greg asked, not wanting to push the issue too much.
"Yeah he was and when he told me that he would make my life a living hell, I knew it was over." she said with a sigh. She was glad that she was talking about it now instead of keeping it bottled up.
Bella said her ex had told her he would make her life a living hell. Greg nodded.
"Yeah. You're better off without a guy like that," he agreed. "When a bad guy says somethin' like that, he can usually make good on it."
He sipped his beer and leaned back to stretch. His muscles were aching and he was a bit sore, but it could've been worse. A few of his joints cracked loudly.
"Goes with the job description," he said, making a joke about his cracking joints. He shook his head. "Vampires. Tough enough by themselves, and just plain brutal in groups."
"Yeah. You're better off without a guy like that," he agreed. "When a bad guy says somethin' like that, he can usually make good on it."
"Yeah I know." she agreed with him on that she didn't need a guy like that. "Yes they do make good on it, I think a guy who hits a girl is a jerk."
Bella grinned when he started to crack his bones and knew that it was from working to hard.
"Goes with the job description," he said, making a joke about his cracking joints. He shook his head. "Vampires. Tough enough by themselves, and just plain brutal in groups."
"I bet it does go with the job description." she said with a wink. "Ah Vampires. Yes they are tough enough by themselves." Bella told him as she laughed. "I bet you could use a massage."
He raised his eyebrows. "You know a good massage therapist around here?" he asked, laughing.
Bella laughed with him and nodded. "I think I could help you out with that massage." she told him as she bit her lip on the inside of her mouth.
Bella watched him for a few minutes and then she looked back down at her hands that she had on her lap. She was having fun right now and didn't care what anyone was thinking either.
Bella said she could help him out with that massage and bit her lip.
"You really do like to get to the point, don't you?" Greg asked, running a hand through his dark hair, which needed to be cut.
Bella's gaze lingered on him for a bit before she looked down at her hands.
"What are you lookin' at?" he asked, smiling as he took a sip of his beer. "I know I have a big gash on my face, but I thought we were done with that."
The guys at the bar had seemed to notice that Greg wasn't planning on leaving anytime soon, since their conversation had shifted back to the town's apparent coyote problem. They only glanced in Bella's direction once in a while, probably to see if Greg was still there.
"You really do like to get to the point, don't you?" Greg asked, running a hand through his dark hair, which needed to be cut.
"I try to anyway." she told him with a smile as she watched him run his hand through his hair.
"What are you lookin' at?" he asked, smiling as he took a sip of his beer. "I know I have a big gash on my face, but I thought we were done with that."
"I was looking at your handsome face." she said in a whisper as she bit her lip again. "I am not worried about that cut on your face and we are through with that."
Bella was happy that the guys went back to talking to each other about other things and not about her. Bella knew that the guys at the bar would glance her way now and then but she didn't pay any attention to them.
Bella offered to help Greg with a massage, which amused him a bit. She was very forward, and he liked that about her. Greg didn't like to beat around the bush when it came to romance and relationships. This was just a bit of flirting, but Bella seemed very open and straightforward, which was a nice change of pace from what he was used to.
He noticed she was staring at him and asked what she was looking at, making a crack about the gash on his eyebrow. She replied she was looking at his handsome face, which made him smile. It had been a while since he'd been called handsome.
"You can look at it all you want," he said. "Gives me an excuse to stare at you without feeling like a creep."
Bella blushed when Greg told her she could look all she wants to and that gave him an excuse to look at her.
"Well kind sir you can stare at me all you want as well." she told him as she felt her cheeks turn red.
Bella liked this change in a man. Someone who wasn't just trying to get her into bed on the first date, that always bothered her when a guy would push himself a a female. Greg was different from the others and that got her attention real fast. He was easy to talk to and he didn't have anything bad to say about her abilities like everyone else did.
Bella blushed and told him he could stare at her all he liked as well. He hadn't made anyone blush that way since high school and it was nice to know he still had some charm left in him.
"Alright then," he said, "we have a deal."
He was glad he'd met Bella after a difficult hunt. She was cool and had a good sense of humor, and it was nice to relax and have a drink with someone.
"So, what do you do for a living?" Greg asked. She seemed to know a bit about him, so it was only fair for him to learn a little about her. He also wondered if she made financial use of her powers or if she had a different job completely.
"Yes we do have a deal." she told him with a warm simle.
She looked at him when he asked her what she did for a living and she shruged her shoulders as she told him what she does.
"Well some days people want me to do a reading for them, help find some people and then sometimes some hunters want me to help them track down all kinds of things for them." Bella told him as she leaned on her arms as she thought about helping the hunters.
Bella explained that she did readings and helped hunters track down different things.
"Sounds like a hard job with no benefits," he said. "I can relate."
He finished his beer and set the empty bottle on the table.
"I tend to do my own tracking," Greg said. "Newspapers and research, mostly."
Not that he had anything against legitimate psychics, but he didn't like to get other people involved in his hunts. Mostly because he was normally too caught up with what he was doing to protect other people as much as he should. He also tended to butt heads with other hunters. It was typically best for him to work alone, unless outside help was necessary.
"Sounds like a hard job with no benefits," he said. "I can relate."
Greg said it sounded like a hard job with no benefits and that he could relate. Bella smiled a bit.
"Yeah it is a hard job but I don't think I can get a good job that pays good." she said with a small smile.
She watched him finish his beer and set his glass on the table.
"I tend to do my own tracking," Greg said. "Newspapers and research, mostly."
"I try and tell them that they need to do their own tracking and do their own research but they don't listen." she told him as she finished her beer as well.
Bella wished that the hunters would do their own research and not bother her in that way but she knew it wasn't going to happen that way. Bella reached over and touched Greg's hand and then pulled back really fast. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that."
Bella said it was a hard job, but that she didn't think she could get a job that paid well.
"Yeah. In this economy, that's where most of us are at," he said.
He told her he did his own tracking and she said she wished more hunters were like that.
"Sometimes it's just easier to find a psychic with a little power than to crack a book," Greg said, smiling. "I don't really like to get people involved in my hunts unless it's, like, the only option. It's dangerous and the less people put in that situation, the better."
Bella leaned forward and put her hand on top of his on the table, which didn't bother him. But then she pulled back really quickly and apologized, saying she shouldn't have done it.
"It's fine," Greg said, surprised. It was possible she was simply embarassed, but he highly doubted it.
