Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?

Bella sighed a little. "I know but still yet it bothers the hell out of me." she said as she looked down.
She looked at him and smiled. "Well I will not pry into your head to find out anything..just yet." Bella said with a grin and a wink.
Bella studied him for a few minutes as she took another drink from her glass. "You think I am like the rest of the people who claim to be a psychic." she said after sitting her glass down and looked up to him. "I will tell you I am the real deal."
There was only one other person she had ever told about her being a psychic and that was her best friend whom she hasen't seen in five years and it feels good to let one other person know.
Bella admitted that the men at the bar bothered her. Greg didn't quite understand why, but then again he'd never really been in her situation - having drunken men staring at him while he was trying to eat.
She assured him she wouldn't pry into his head to find out anything. That was a relief, since there were a lot of things about Greg's life that he didn't want revealed, especially to a stranger.
"You think I am like the rest of the people who claim to be a psychic," Bella said as he was pondering that. "I will tell you I am the real deal."
He tipped his beer to her. "I believe it," he said, taking a swig. "Alright then, what do you want to know?"
Bella thought for a few minutes and smiled. "Well I would like to know what you like to do for fun when your not hunting." she said as she started to laugh once again.
She was having fun sitting here talking to him, she leaned back in her chair. "Want to see something really cool?" Bella asked him with a raised eyebrow.
Bella would let him in on her being able to move things without even touching the item, that always got a lot of attention but this time it would be something small she would move.
Bella said she wanted to know what Greg did for fun when he wasn't hunting.
"A hunter's always hunting," he said with a sly smile. And then he said seriously, "I hang out in bars and poolhalls. I watch people, play a few games of pool, maybe some darts. Or I sit home and listen to some music, enjoy some peace and quiet."
"Want to see something really cool?" Bella asked.
"As long as it doesn't involve me killing anything, sure," Greg said.
He could fight if he had to, but he wasn't in any shape or state of mind to do so.
"A hunter's always hunting," he said with a sly smile. And then he said seriously, "I hang out in bars and poolhalls. I watch people, play a few games of pool, maybe some darts. Or I sit home and listen to some music, enjoy some peace and quiet."
"Well that sounds like fun." she told him. Bella liked to go to graveyards sometimes but not all the time.
Bella looked at him and grinned. "No you don't have to kill anyone. What I am going to show you is this." she said as she slid her glass over to him with her mind and then looked back to him. "Sorry if that was creepy but I thought you would like to see something like that." she said with a shrug.
When Greg told her he hung out in poolhalls, Bella said that sounded fun.
"Want to see something really cool?" she had asked. "As long as it doesn't involve me killing anything, sure," he had replied. "No," Bella replied, "you don't have to kill anyone. What I am going to show you is this."
The glass that was sitting in front of Bella on the table slid slowly across it toward Greg without her even touching it. Greg's eyes widened. It didn't surprise him that she could do something like that, but it did surprise him that she was showing him.
"Sorry if that was creepy," she said, "but I thought you might like to see something like that."
Greg had a puzzled expression on his face, but it wasn't because of what Bella had just done, it was what she had said a moment ago. "No you don't have to kill anyone." She'd said 'anyone', not 'anything'. There was a difference. He wondered what exactly she knew about him, what she had seen him do.
"It's not creepy," he said, deciding to let the comment slide for now. "Must come in handy on those days you just don't want to get out of bed."
"Something wrong Greg?" she asked him as she bit her bottom lip as she watched him and then look away. "I'm sorry if I said anything to upset you." she said
She thought about what he said about the days she didn't want to get out of bed and she nodded. "Yeah it does come in handy on the days I don't want or can't get out of bed." she told him with a small grin.
Bella really need to get a hold of what she was saying to people when she talked to them about certian things. She should have said something instead of someone. Bella mentally kicked herself for that mistake.
"Something wrong Greg?" Bella asked. "I'm sorry if I said anything to upset you."
Greg shook his head. "Nope. What would be wrong?"
He was a bit suspicious of Bella because psychics could be tricky. They always knew more than you wanted them to. But he was getting along with her, and if she had seen anything less-than-flattering about his past, it didn't seem to bother her. And that was interesting.
She said her little trick did come in handy when she couldn't get out of bed.
"I'll bet your gift is pretty draining," he said, putting emphasis on the term 'gift'. He wondered if she considered her abilities a gift or a curse.
Bella smiled at him. "Nothing, I just thought I said something wrong a while ago." she said with a smile. "Just wanted to say I like you and you are cool to hang out with."
"I'll bet your gift is pretty draining," he said, putting emphasis on the term 'gift'. He wondered if she considered her abilities a gift or a curse.
"Yeah they can be pretty draining but I got used to them." she says with a shrug and played with her glass.
She said she thought she had said something wrong earlier. Bella was making Greg very curious.
She said she liked him and he was cool to hang out with. He smiled.
"Up front and to the point," he said. "I like that." He took a sip of his beer. "You're cool to hang out with, too."
He said he bet that her gift was draining. She said it was, but she'd gotten used to it.
"I'm not sure I'd ever get used to something like that," he said. "Seeing things, sensing things, having no control over it. I don't know, sounds like a pain in the ass. No offense."
Being about as intuitive as a rock, Greg wouldn't know what to do with all that incoming information.
"Up front and to the point," he said. "I like that." He took a sip of his beer. "You're cool to hang out with, too."
"Well I try to up front and to the point." she told him. He seemed nice and she liked that. "Thanks, it's hard to meet people who want to hang out with and just be yourself."
"I'm not sure I'd ever get used to something like that," he said. "Seeing things, sensing things, having no control over it. I don't know, sounds like a pain in the ass. No offense."
"At first I didn't have control over my gifts and yes they can be a pain in the ass,No offense taken." she said. "I once scared a friend of mine with my gift but I didn't mean to, I told her about something she had lost and two days later she found the necklace in one of her coat pockets."
Bella laughed when she remembered back to that day it was a good day, because her friend kept her secret and never told anyone to this day.
Bella said she tried to be up front and to the point, and that it was hard to find people you could just spend time with and be yourself around. Greg nodded.
"I hear that," he agreed.
Greg being himself wasn't always pleasant to others, or to himself even. It was difficult to find people who stuck around long enough to get to know him really well.
Bella admitted her gifts had been a pain in the beginning, but said that she had better control over them now. She recounted a story about helping a friend lose her missing necklace.
"Where were you when I lost my lucky knife?" he asked with a joking smile. "I guess if it was so lucky, I wouldn't have lost it though," he said afterwards. "How do your friends and family feel about your powers?" he asked.
"Where were you when I lost my lucky knife?" he asked with a joking smile. "I guess if it was so lucky, I wouldn't have lost it though," he said afterwards. "How do your friends and family feel about your powers?" he asked.
Bella grinned at him for a few minutes. "Well I could have been travling somewhere when your lucky knife disappeared." she told him. "They are cool with them now, At first they were like everyone else and then my mom told me not to let anyone know about them when we discovered out about them, Then after a while she told me to help whoever I could when I could."
Helping people always made Bella feel good afterwards, after the job is over and done with.
Bella said she was probably traveling somewhere when Greg's lucky knife went missing. Then she said her family had told her to keep her powers a secret at first, and then to use them to help whoever she could.
"Makes sense," Greg said.
He liked to help people, too. Although sometimes it didn't work out the way he wanted.
"What about your boyfriend?" he asked. "How does he feel about it?"
It wasn't exactly subtle, but subtle wasn't always Greg's strong suit. He wasn't so much assuming she had a boyfriend as trying to figure out if she had one. After all, it was always good to know if the lady you were having a drink with was available.
Bella looked up at him when he asked what her boyfriend thought about her powers. "I don't have a boyfriend." she told him as she looked back down at her glass.
She would love to have a boyfriend but she didn't see that happening none to soon in her near future. "My boyfriend left me for another girl three years ago and in a way I am glad it is over between us."
Bella would not tell him why she was happy that her and her ex-boyfriend are broke up, not unless he asks that is. She didn't like to talk about it to much because it always made her sad.
