Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!
Paris paused outside the diner, sliding her hand into the pocket of her hoodie, making sure her billfold was still there. She took it out, and felt for her debit card. Smiling to herself, finding it, she slipped it back into her pocket.
It was a new town, new people, new hearts. Looking down at the ground she put her hand out, feeling around for the chair, sliding her fingers down to find the seat and slipping in. She was dressed casually in dark jeans, tennis shoes a long sleeve shirt and a hoodie. She pulled the sleeves up on the hoodie, and pushed her sunglasses up. Putting her elbow on the table she faced out to the street, idly running fingers through her hair.
She was thrilled, already she felt connections between people, ones that would make love easier. The waitress came out, taking her drink order. She grinned to herself, asking about the specials, the waitress, and the young gentleman at the table next to her. They knew each other, grew up together, and when the young woman came out she sensed a warmer shift in her.
Tilting her head up, she ordered, handing a menu to her, brushing her hand. When the waitress went inside she tiled her head towards the man.
"Excuse me?" She asked hopefully, as if hoping he was listening. "Do you have any sugar at your table?" She tilted her head. He moved, shifting.
"Uhm, yeah, here." He said, probably holding it out, she blinked, taking her sunglasses off, looking at him with paled out eyes. "Oh, sorry, yeah, here." He said, standing and handing the sugar canister to her. She touched his fingers, connecting him with the waitress, stitching their aura's together. Nodding she thanked him, sitting back in her chair.
There was a slight side effect to connecting people, sometimes the wrong auras were connected, if someone bumped into her while she was doing it. Only sensitive psychics and supernatural creatures knew what she really was or at least that she wasn't human. She knew that some hunters, if they looked for signs, realized it too.
These days, she'd fallen out of touch with some of her other cupids, she feared because they were highly prized for their abilities, they had fallen into less savory hands. The feeling that there was something brewing didn't help ease her either.
Walking into the diner, Kate walked through the place as she looked for a empty table. Then she saw someone she recognized, a young men, she didn’t actually know him but they had a few run inns some time ago. As she walked up to him she could here him offer some kind of apologize. Curious as to what it was all about, she saw it the woman he was talking to was blind. Smiling to herself, she found it fitting, she didn’t know much of the guy but she did know he tended to be a bit blunt.
Making a little small talk, Kate said her byes to the man and walked over to a table for her own. Waiting for the waitress to come and take her order, she took a look around her. It wasn’t the kind of place she went to often, but she was sick and tired of the motels and 24/7 routine that had been going on for a while now.
More important, she probably was getting tired of being on her own. She noticed she started to talk to herself more and more. An d while she had always done that a bit, it started to get out of hand at the moment.
