Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!

1. Is this site active?
Yes, the site is definitely active, but we are small and still growing. Hopefully that's where you come in
2. How much Supernatural do I need to watch to play on this site?
The original Supernatural: Unforgiven picked up with our own slightly modified version from somewhere in mid season 4. We recommend that you watch the entire series, of course, but watching through season 5 and then making yourself familiar with the Men of Letters would be really great, though not a requirement.
3. Can I play Dean Winchester/Castiel/Crowley, etc?
No, sorry. Our site is show canon free. Any interactions with show canons will be minor and handled by the staff as we deem necessary. Besides, it's like thirty years later. They're all old now
4. Can I be related to one of the show canons?
Sure. We have quite a few open canons who are the children of Sam, Dean, Jo, Adam, as well as others. Check out our canon list here. Relationships to minor show canons will be considered on a case by case basis. PM the Chronicler and/or the Preceptor with your idea.
5. Can my character be the miracle nephilim love child of Destiel?
No. Stop it.
6. Did Sam and Dean start the apocalypse like on the show?
Yes. However, in our story, the attempts to save the breaking of the seals was aided by several of our own site characters (hence the other names on the canon list you may not be so familiar with). Also, Sam and Adam were rescued from hell almost immediately after dropping off Michael and Lucifer. Also, Jo and Ellen never died.
7. What was life like growing up for the site canons?
8. Is there a word count?
No, there isn't a word count because this isn't school. However, we do ask that you don't post tiny one or two line posts because that gives your writing partner nothing at all to work with. Dress up your posts with description, dialogue, and thoughts if it needs a little more beef. It's easier than you might think
9. What about seasons 6 and on?
The history of our site veers off the course of the show somewhere in the season 4 and 5 timeline and goes completely original when Sam and Adam are pulled from hell, as explained in our plot. The only event we pulled from a later season was the introduction of Abaddon by a time-travelling Henry Winchester and this was for the purpose of introducing the Men of Letters. In our story, Abaddon is still alive, encased in concrete, and only two people know where he is: Sam and Dean.
And they're not telling.
10. Why can't I be Castiel, Crowley, etc.?
We understand that these characters are likely still kicking around somewhere. But our plot takes the focus off the war of heaven vs. hell and back to the monster of the week. We understand that being completely non-canon may be unattractive to some, but our reasoning is that we we've found that sites tend to focus on show canons while others are left in the background. We want original characters to have their chance to shine.
