Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?

The Black Dodge Challenger came fishtailing into the parking lot. The engine roaring and gravel went flying everywhere. The blonde behind the wheel grinned as she found an empty spot and pulled in. She really loved this car. Once she got the vehicle parked she cut the engine, grabbed her bag off the front seat and unfolded herself from the drivers side. She closed the door, clicked the key fob button to lock the doors and set the alarm. Throwing her bag over her shoulder she headed to the front entrance of the Harvelle Roadhouse.
She had an iPhone in her hand and was sending off a last text message as she approached the door. Pulling the door open she stepped inside and tucked the phone into her bag as she gave the room a quick appraising glance.
Smiling, she saw a couple of familiar faces and headed in that direction. She held up her hands as she moved, trying to suss out who was in charge of this 'meeting,' or whatever it was they were calling it.
"Sorry, sorry I'm late. Hope I'm not interrupting anything. Y'all can just continue on with whatever you were doing. I'll catch up."
Kelli Jo made her way over to the table where her sister was sitting along with her old friend Greg Marsh. There were two other men at the table with them that she didn't know. They were both quite handsome and she was sure she would find out soon enough who they were.
"Hey, Greg... Long time no see? Did my dad call you too?"
Smiling Kelli Jo paused for a minute and then turned to her sister Annali. She took a deep breath and let out a heavy sigh.
"And... You? It's been way too long, Li Li. Damn, I have missed you sissy bug."
She went over and gave her sister a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek. Then she took the seat next to her and sat down. It seemed that she had gotten there just in time. Someone was trying to get their attention. The rest of the reunion would have to wait till after the meeting.

Ellen waited patiently for everyone to show up. Unfortunately these people were coming from all over, so they didn’t exactly get there in a timely fashion. After a while it got to the point where Ellen had to get the ball rolling. The late-comers would have to catch up when they got there. Ellen walked over to the jukebox and unplugged it, cutting the music that was drifting through the saloon.
“Alright, everybody. Time to get this show on the road,” she announced.
A few people were still talking amongst themselves, but she had most people’s attention, so she continued.
“Now, I called y’all here for a damn good reason and I wanna thank you for takin’ time out of your busy schedules to get your asses here.”
She walked to the middle of the room, positioning herself so she could address the whole room and everyone could see her.
“Everybody who’s sitting here should already know about this whole seal business,” she continued. “But in case you’re a little fuzzy on the details I’ll give you a quick idea of what’s going on.”
She walked over to the bar and grabbed a beer, cracking it open and taking a sip before she got into her whole lecture. Everyone’s attention was on her now and the saloon had fallen silent.
“There are several demons working to break sixty-six out of probably a couple hundred seals. We’ve all been workin’ hard to stop this from happening, but unfortunately we haven’t been doin’ so good.”
Ellen glanced over at Sam and Dean, giving them a pointed look. She knew they would take that comment particularly hard and wanted them to know she didn’t think they’d dropped the ball. Her attention was on the two of them for the moment as she spoke.
“That’s not to say we haven’t all given a-hundred-and-ten percent. But, it’s a big job and none of us can do it alone.”
She turned her attention to the whole room once again, looking around at everyone in turn as she continued.
“I know everyone here’s got a different way about ‘em and not everyone’s gonna get along. But you’re gonna have to learn to put your differences aside and work together for this one. ‘Cause if you don’t the whole world’s goin’ to hell in a handbasket.”
She took another sip of her beer and sat down on a bar stool, facing everyone.
“Out of the sixty-six seals they needed to break, those bastards have managed to break fifty-nine.”
She looked around, letting that information sink in with everyone.
“They only have to break seven more. And that means the Apocalypse. It’s down to the wire now, folks. And that means we gotta do everything we can to stop ‘em. If we’re gonna go down, we sure as hell ain’t goin’ down easy. No matter how things go from here, I don’t expect a single one o’ you to roll over for some black-eyed hellspawn son of a bitch. You hear me?”
There was a response of agreement from the room and Ellen nodded in approval.
“Alright then. Here’s what we have to work with. I’ve gotten some key information from a number of you, and I’ve managed to figure out a little somethin’. Turns out a white-eyed demon named Lilith’s the ring leader of this circus. And she’s got a few go-to demons she’s got doin’ her dirty work. I’m not sure exactly who they are and y’all know they could damn well look like anyone. But I know where they’re goin’ and have an idea of what they’re doin’.”
She stood up and set her beer down on the bar so she could walk around the room.
“I got a tip from DEAN about a seal involving a teacher killing sixty-six students in one day – innocent children to be a little more specific about it. I was told I could thank CASTIEL and ANNALI for gathering information on this one.”
Ellen gave a nod to Castiel and Annali in turn. She’d encountered Castiel once before under strange circumstances and she’d only heard about Annali in passing. She’d crossed paths with her father once or twice and she’d heard she had a sister who was in the hunting business. Castiel was an angel and he had ways of getting information normal people just couldn’t access. From what she’d heard of Annali, she wasn’t too good out in the trenches, but she was a damn good researcher. Ellen went behind the bar to grab a stack of folders, each labeled and containing any information on their respective seals.
“DEAN’s asked to go after this seal and I got no reason not to let him.”
She turned her attention to Sam for a moment.
“SAM, normally I’d send you out with DEAN, but you’re a seasoned, well-trained hunter and I’m gonna need you with me since I ain’t what I used to be. But I ain’t sendin’ anyone out alone.”
She looked around the room looking for a particular hunter and settled her gaze on the woman once she picked her out.
“SULLY, come on over here. I want to send you out with DEAN. I hear you’ve worked together before and you made a good team.”
Placing Dean with anyone other than Sam was a risky move. The man didn’t work well with too many people. But neither did she, and she only had so many hunters she’d trust to be on her team. She placed a file in front of Dean on the table.
“You’ll find everything we could dig up in here.”
She turned to Sam and handed him a separate file.
“SAM, you’re comin’ with me to find the Seal of Solomon. It’s a big symbol in the middle o’ nowhere stretching over a couple hundred miles. JO dug up the information on this one. She thinks it’s a Devil’s Gate and if these demons destroy it God knows what we’ll be dealin’ with. Since we have experience with this kind of thing I figured you and me should take this one.”
Ellen looked around for Jo and turned around when she heard the door open and close. A young blond woman walked in and the whole room turned its attention toward her.
“Sorry, sorry I'm late. Hope I'm not interrupting anything. Y'all can just continue on with whatever you were doing. I'll catch up.”
Ellen glared at her as she sat down with Greg and Annali. She reckoned this was David MacPherson’s youngest daughter, judging by the glare Annali gave her. She wasn’t sure what the woman’s hunting skills were and she started trying to think of who to team her with as she continued.
“If everyone’s settled I’ll keep goin’,” she said.
She waited for someone to quickly fill Kelli Jo in on what she’d missed before continuing.
“Alright. Thanks to SAM and CASTIEL we have some information on a seal involving somethin’ called the Bone of Ullr. Ullr is an ancient god. He goes by a few different names. The Bone of Ullr was a bone covered in runes he used to use to travel or teleport over long distances. It’s also a powerful weapon in the wrong hands. We’re not sure what it does, but the demons want it – which means it sure as hell can’t do anything good if they get it. We need to find it and either destroy it or hide it. Whichever’s more convenient.”
Ellen walked over to Jo and handed her the file.
“JO, honey, I’m gonna put you and GREG on this one. Make sure he doesn’t shoot himself in the foot, will you?”
She knew Jo would have loved to tackle the Seal of Solomon, as she’d been the one to dig up most of the dirt on that particular seal. However, a Devil’s Gate was tricky and even the most seasoned hunters would have a hard time with it. A part of her wanted to take Jo with her just so she could keep her safe, but she had to think like a general rather than a mother. And she knew Jo was a good hunter and she could handle this. But, just in case, she knew Greg would protect her. He may have been a bit green, but he seemed to have taken a liking to Jo.
“I got a bunch of hits on this one from a lot of you,” she continued. “There were a lot of omens leading up to it. From what I could figure out it seems like some major disaster is going to completely wipe out a city. I’m not sure what kind of nasty demon mojo these guys are workin’ to do it, but we’re gonna need some pretty decent mojo to stop it. CASTIEL, I think you’re going to need to step in on this one. If anyone can save a city, I reckon it’s an angel.”
She looked around for two female hunters.
“BLAIR and REN, I’m gonna send the two of you with CASTIEL, since he’s gonna need some help.”
She handed the file to Blair. Castiel was a difficult personality for most people to deal with, but these two women seemed to get along with a lot of different people. They were also pretty patient from what she’d heard. Ren was part of a search and rescue team, so she figured she’d be able to get people the hell out of dodge and if things went bad she’d be able to rescue anyone left alive. She’d heard Blair had some kind of extra-sensory talents, which was always handy to have aboard.
“BOBBY dug up some information about a seal that involves sacrificing an innocent soul. This probably means some kind of blood ritual. It sounds pretty simple, but we can’t assume that it is.”
She looked around for Adam – the long lost Winchester. He was pretty new to hunting, but he had the heart and determination of any Winchester. She gave him a nod and handed him the file.
“ADAM, I’m gonna send you after this one. I know you’re a little new to this so I’m gonna send RYANNE with you.”
And that brought her to the werewolves. Ellen had been hesitant to involve them. After all, most of the people in this room would’ve killed them if given the opportunity. She also wasn’t sure she could trust them.
“NAKITA and POPE,” she said. “To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with you. I’m not gonna try pullin’ the wool over your eyes here – I think we all know out of everybody in this room you two are the ones who stand out.”
A few people shifted uncomfortably. Ellen tried to ignore it.
“But it so happens I found a seal I don’t think anyone else could get within a few miles of without getting ripped apart.”
She handed the last file to Pope.
“This seal involves sacrificing the leader of a werewolf pack. Now, as I said before, most of the people in this room would rather kill your kind than save ‘em. If a hunter went after this seal I can’t say for sure they’d put their whole heart into stopping it. I also can’t say for sure whatever they ran into wouldn’t kill them on the spot. So, I’m sending you two into this one.”
Ellen went back to the center of the room and looked around.
“Now, I don’t like the idea of all of us being separated. But, I think it’s the best chance we have at stopping as many of the seals as possible. You also might’ve noticed I said there were seven seals and I only gave out six. That’s because I don’t know what the final seal is, which is a problem.”
She turned her attention to Bobby.
“BOBBY, I’m gonna need you to do some research, see if you can dig up anything on what the final seal might be.”
She looked back over at Annali.
“ANNALI, BOBBY here’s a good hunter and a good researcher, but he’s old fashioned. Doesn’t do too well with technology. So I’d like for you to work with him to see what you can find out.”
Ellen sighed and looked at KELLI JO, thinking.
“That just leaves you, darlin’,” she said. “I understand you’re a hunter, trained under your dad.”
She looked around the room, weighing the teams. Her first instinct was to put her with Dean and Sully but she immediately decided against it. The two of them had difficult personalities and probably wouldn’t respond well to getting saddled with someone they hadn’t worked with before. She could take her along with her and Sam, but she had no way of knowing how well trained this woman was. They didn’t need a rookie accidentally letting some big baddie loose. She could put her with Ryanne and Adam. Castiel’s team was pretty full. Then there was Jo and Greg. Kelli Jo seemed to know him. Maybe they’d work well together.
“I think I’m gonna put you with JO and GREG on the Bone of Ullr. The more eyes we have on that one the better.”
Confident, Ellen put her hands on her hips and surveyed the crowd.
“Alright. Everyone knows what they’re doin’ and where they’re goin’. Help yourselves to some food and beverages before you head out.”
Ellen sat down on her stool and took a drink from her beer. She hoped none of these people would get themselves killed.
