Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!

Sam
Sam waited outside the door, slightly impatient, but mostly worried about what the hell was going on. After what seemed like an eternity Ellen opened the door. Sam wrapped his arms around her has she hugged him tightly. Then stood back with an appropriately downcast look on his face when she admonished him for not keeping in touch.
"Yeah, I know. I'm sorry. I'll keep that in mind. It's good to see you too, though."
He looked up when she mentioned his friend was inside waiting for him. Sam's brow furrowed. Somehow friend did not sum up the relationship he had with Cas. But, there really wasn't anything that described it better and he didn't say anything.
Sam walked into the Roadhouse after Ellen. He scanned the room as he walked and his eyes stopped on the man sitting at a table.
"Hey, Castiel..."
Sam started but then the man started to speak. His voice sounded different. Sam looked over the man while he listened to him.
“M-My name is Jimmy Novak,”
“Castiel was using me, and now he’s out, and I want to go home to my family, please tell me you know how to find them,”
Sam blinked his eyes a few times, visibly stunned by what the man was saying. This was something he had never considered and couldn't quite comprehend. He gave a look over to Ellen and then back to 'Jimmy' then back to Ellen he spoke to her.
"How did he get here? How long has he been here?"
He kept his eyes on Ellen mostly as she tried to answer his questions. Every once in a while they flicked over to the man he knew as Castiel, but apparently was now Jimmy Novack.
When Ellen finished with what she knew, Sam turned his attention back to the man.
"Ummmm... Cas... I mean, Jimmy? What do you remember? You're Castiel's vessel and he just left you? No explanation?"
Sam had no idea what was going on. This was a first for him. They had never talked about who Cas' host was before, only that the man he occupied had been willing and had even prayed to be used as a vessel.
Sam apologized for not keeping in touch, and he did look genuinely sorry. He stepped inside and Ellen closed and locked the door behind them as Sam greeted Jimmy, calling him Castiel. Jimmy introduced himself to Sam and explained as much of the situation as he could.
"M-My name is Jimmy Novak," he said. "Castiel was using me, and now he's out, and I want to go home to my family, please tell me you know how to find them."
Ellen studied him, listening to what he said carefully. Whoever or whatever this "Castiel" was had been 'using' him and now he was 'out.' Sure as hell sounded like a demon to her - jumping into a body to take a quick ride, then slipping out.
After a moment he looked at both her and Sam.
"Can you help me?"
Ellen glanced over at Sam, not knowing what to say to Jimmy herself, but she could see that Sam was just as surprised as she was, judging by his expression. She was partially relieved that she wasn't the only one in the dark here and partially concerned that Sam wouldn't be able to offer any additional help. Sam turned to her.
"How did he get here?" he asked. "How long has he been here?"
Ellen shrugged.
"He's been here a couple of hours," she said. "Showed up just before I called you. Neither of us seems to know how the hell he got here, though. I came out of the storage room there and he was standing in the middle of the saloon. All the doors and windows are locked and otherwise protected."
She wasn't sure how much this Jimmy fellow knew about the supernatural and he was already a little jumpy. She didn't want to freak him out any more talking about Devil's Traps and salt lines. Sam would know what she meant.
"He seemed confused. Scared. Still does," she observed.
Sam then turned to Jimmy.
"Um... Cas... I mean, Jimmy?" Sam asked. "What do you remember? You're Castiel's vessel and he just left you? No explanation?"
Ellen wrinkled her brows. Vessel? That was an odd word for Sam to use. Why not "host?" She gave Sam a questioning look, but for the moment his attention was on Jimmy.
Jimmy looked between Ellen and Sam for a while. He was scared. Very scared, and he just wanted to go back to his family. Didn’t they understand that? He should have never prayed for this. This was NOT what he had hoped for. Nor asked for. He didn’t ask to be in a war, and he certainly didn’t ask to be...here. He wanted to watch his daughter graduate highschool, turn sixteen even.....
He was starting to shake, and he knew that, he didn’t know this person at ALL really and it terrified him. Could they even trust him? Ellen seemed to trust him, so Jimmy tried.
"Ummmm... Cas... I mean, Jimmy? What do you remember? You're Castiel's vessel and he just left you? No explanation?"
Jimmy glanced at Sam for a minute, “I uh, I don’t remember anything...except bits and pieces....all I know is I just...woke up and I was me again, you know? I’ve only been here for a couple of hours...like she said...I’m not even sure how I came HERE exactly. I don’t even know this place...no offense...” he said to Ellen. “Ellen was nice enough to take me in...” he said.
"He seemed confused. Scared. Still does," she observed.
Jimmy nodded as Ellen said that, “Still am...” he said agreeing with her. “Castiel just....up and left Sam, I don’t know where exactly he is....except all I know is i want to get back to my family....” Jimmy said. Would they even TAKE him back though? He knew they were nice enough people, but he didn’t want to put them out.
“Thanks for everything maybe...I can get a bus ticket or something?” he asked hopefully.
