Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?

A grin made its way onto her face before she quickly wiped it off to maintain a hard, neutral look, 'Lightsaber, indeed.' Ryanne had noticed how his voice cracked a little and she couldn't help but wonder if that was just her as a female making him nervous, or her as a character. She hoped it wasn't her character, he seemed to be a sweet guy and she didn't want to intimidate him
"No, Half-Angel making good with a demon would be weird. I've never had this problem at all before in my life, I used my powers freely as I wished and hadn't had a problem. Maybe it has something to do with this war of the seals?"
Ryanne was stunned. A Half-Angel? She couldn't believe it and automatically thought that he was pulling her leg. She looked at him in a new light, a 'wtf?!' expression took over. She stood and started to walk around the small, compact room.
She'd met one Angel in her life, he was the one that had stranded both Clark and herself in the self-made panic room. The huntress still couldn't quite wrap her head around the fact that Angels, Lucifer and God existed especially when she adamantly believed them to be pure imagination a few months a go.
When she met Castiel, she though he was as stubborn as a mule and had a 'Woe is me' attitude who felt he couldn't accept help. She now had that opinion of every Angel. Clark, however was had got her thinking that her opinion may not as concrete as she first thought.
So caught up in her thoughts she just about caught the end of his question. "Huh? Hunter?" She stopped her moving and looked at him, "Yes, I hunt. I am a hunter and you, you are apparently a Half-Angel." She walked towards him and stopped infront of his knees and looked down, "You still get powers?"
She paused for a moment and thought about everything that had been going on. Surely Angels weren't after their own kind? That's not right. Maybe they are? Clark is apparently a very rare case. 'And that,' she thought, 'is the exact reason why he needs protecting.'
Ryanne let out a sigh and sat back down onto her chair and smiled at him and thought about a change of topic, "So how did you end up in my home town then?"

When he let the Half-Angel bit spill out he realized what he had just did, he should have assumed she didn't know prior to her meeting him or that would be weird. Must have been a shocker, especially for a Hunter. If Clark had all of his facts straight, Angels just made their appearance back on Earth just this year after almost nearly 2000 years of Heavenly radio silence, at least thats what was speculated. Clearly some have been in and around, but as a whole haven't revealed themselves to the majority of the hunting community. It's amazing, even in a world of secrets there are still secrets. How deep does the well go one wonders.
He sort of gave a faint smile when she began walking around the room, her expression sort of made him proud for being who he is. To cause so much effect, to seem important in something greater in life, the feeling was vindicating in comparison. Made him feel a tad more comfortable with the young woman, he had some sort of card in his hand that would essentially trump his opponent Mr. Embarrassment.
"Huh? Hunter? Yes, I hunt. I am a hunter and you, you are apparently a Half-Angel. You still get powers?" When she moved up close to stand before him as he was sitting, he looked up at her and then blinked averting his eyes to the side. He couldn't very well look her in the eye, and everywhere else bellow neck level was dangerous. It could seem he was staring at her boobies or something, and that would be awkward. Clearing his throat, he attempted to sort out how exactly he'd respond to that.
"I-I-um, h-have powers. Just not a lot. At least not yet, I seem to get powerful with practice but at the moment I can heal minor diseases and things, and I can teleport too which is a big one, I also have some sort of healing factor that lets me heal quicker then usual which is helpful I guess," He started to beat red, as the next part would explain why he was in her home town. "I was um, watching a movie and uh next minute I find myself teleporting. I have a hard time controlling it, moods, feelings, subconscious wants or needs often send me across the globe which can be very inconvenient. I'm trying to keep a lid on it, but as it is it's tough to willingly teleport, unless I'm in danger or someone I care about is in danger. Or something..." He blinked a bit and then tried to look back up at her, but then refrained and continued to stare off to the side in fear of-- Well, who knows.
Ryanne sat as comfortably as she possibly could on a straight backed chair as she listened to Clark answer her questions. A frown was on her face and she was looking at him intently as she tried to keep up with what he was saying. It wasn't that he was saying that much but he was talking quite fast too and some of it sounded blended together.
Once he'd finished talking, she sat in silence for a couple of minutes as she decoded what he said before she gave him a small smile, "Healing others, yourself and teleporting are pretty major considering your only a Half Angel and I'm sure no one expects you to be able to master all of your abilities just like that. So don't worry about it."
Ryanne wasn't stupid, she was asking him fairly harmless questions because she knew the poor guy was freaked out and nervous and she wasn't sure if that was to do with her presence and if she was too intimidating, the situation he's in or both. If she were honest, she would probably feel exactly the same as him if she were in his shoes.
Sighing, she shuffled her chair closer but not too close and touched his wrist, "Look at me. I'm not going to hurt you, judge you or anything like that. There's no need to be nervous, you're safe and I think you should just be yourself."
Ryanne let out a little huff before leaning back and mentally scolded her self, 'Easier said than done, idiot.' She grinned at him then and leant forward all conspiratorially and lowered her voice. "So what film was it that caused you to go to London?"

Skittish as he was, he was easing into the situation. Ryanne's subtle advances to make him more comfortable were greeted with slight relief, some people would just bull rush into a conversation or just continue on as they were which would make Clark even more uncomfortable. It was embarrassing to seem scared, frightened, or nervous, but it was even more so when people didn't notice and carried on anyway. He was still young, and although the weight of being the only half-angel he knows about on his shoulders, he wasn't the most impressive beacon of light one could hope for in such a dynamic hybrid of human and angel. So to be treated more like a frightened young man, than someone who was supposed to effect their personal scale of power was a blessing. Ironically.
"What troubles me is Castiel, and his words about other Angel's. Enochian symbols are generally used to shield someone from an omnipotent set of eyes, I think there are easier ways to shield me from them. I don't like the idea of spending the rest of this war-- or whatever this is locked in the basement of some creepy old guy I never met." Clark cleared his throat, and he rubbed his knee caps anxiously, he could feel the burning and the pulling of his "flight" but he refrained from losing control and vanishing on his new friend or friends. He merely took a deep breath, and continued. However, he was surprised when he felt his wrist being touched, he pulled it back and scratched the back of his head smiling nervously.
"I'm not worried about stuff like that, I'm just an antsy person that's all. If you haven't noticed." He tried to manage a smile, but all he ended up was looking a tad goofy.
"So what film was it that caused you to go to London?"
He stood up for the first time and began pacing the room, all the while looking back at Ryanne every so often as to reassure her he wasn't completely losing his mind. Though the longer Castiel keeps them waiting, the more stir crazy Clark would eventually become.
"Harry Potter, you've seen them right? I mean they're not as good as the books but they're impressive." He said, almost criticality as he folded his arms and examined symbols, pictures, and calendars on the wall. The calendars were of scantily clad women, which sort of made Clark wonder just how long this little shelter basement hole in the ground thingy was really used for. He gulped and attempted to continue wandering around without touching anything.
"Did you know both of your parents?" He asked, turning to her once more, without thinking he blinked and rubbed the side of his head. "Sorry that's kinda a personal question, I know."

I don't like the idea of spending the rest of this war-- or whatever this is locked in the basement of some creepy old guy I never met."
Ryanne frowned and rested her hands on her thighs as she listened to Clark. She completely understood where he was coming from and she knew there were easier ways but she wasn't sure if she should divulge them or if he knew of them already. She let her head drop back as she chuckled,"Believe me, I'd have something to say to Castiel if I had to stay here for the rest of this war between the Angels."She looked at him with a large grin on her face, "Bobby's not creepy at all. He's a hard, stubborn man who knows what's what and how to deal with it. However, I doubt he'd let us stay in the panic forever as well, so Castiel better come back and let us know his plan of action."
"I'm not worried about stuff like that, I'm just an antsy person that's all. If you haven't noticed."
Ryanne gave him a soft smile and scratched her elbow as he moved on and told her how he ended up in England. "Oh, I like the Harry Potter series. I mean I read them as a child but I haven't seen all of the films. I'll have to take your word for it."
She ended up straddling the chair as she turned to watch Clark as he moved around them room. He seemed harmless enough but, after all, it's always the quiet ones so there is no harm in being cautious.
"Did you know both of your parents?"
As soon as he mentioned her parents, Ry paled considerably. She had kept her mind off them, her mother especially. "Yeah, I did know both of them. Mum died when I was...sixteen I think and then when I was eighteen I left the country and pursued Hunting. I haven't spoken to Dad in a while, so I'm not sure how he is or what he's doing." Her voice was quiet and she thought about getting into contact with him.
Ryanne cleared her throat and her thoughts and looked up at him, "So what about you? Brothers, sisters?"
She didn't have anything against Clark but she hoped Castiel would be back soon because she was getting restless and she could sense the same from Clark as he didn't seem the type to pace.
Castiel did not realize Ry and Clark were in a conversation together. Nor was he very concerned about it. What he was concerned about was the fact that Clark was indeed a Nephilim and Castiel had to protect him. He knew that his brothers and sisters were talking and that they knew about him as well. Still though...Cas was doing his best to keep everything together. He had asked Bobby Singer for some advice, but of course Bobby himself did not know much about the Nephilim except from what the bible had said about them. What the bible had said about them was not good.
Castiel did not think that this boy should die, and he wished to protect him in anyway possible. But how? He was pretty sure if his brothers got a hold of him, he would perish. Castiel was already running from some of his brothers, although he followed his orders as he always had. His brothers were starting to question Castiel’s judgement on certain aspects. Like this one. He would not go to Zachariah for advice, that was for certain. When Castiel poofed back in he noticed they were talking about the Harry Potter series, and Castiel of course knew little of that. He did not watch movies OR read books, so he was a bit confused when he heard them speaking of such. He figured it was a popular book that humans enjoyed. He HAD after all seen it on the newspapers and such.
Castiel looked at Ry and then Clark, “Clark, I must get you to safety, now,” Castiel told him. “I will explain once we are there,” he said. How he was going to explain to Clark that he was in danger was beyond him. Castiel was not good at this sort of thing. Dean was better at it, and Dean wasn’t even that great.
“Clark, you are Nephilim,” he said to him, “This is why you have these powers, WHY you can ‘poof’ to other countries without using a plane ticket,” Castiel explained. “If you read your bible, the Nephilim were something God casted out years ago. Many were in danger of being destroyed. I am not sure how you are still living ;however, I DO know that you are in danger if my brothers and sisters find out,” he said. He looked at Ry, “Ryanne, I could use your help in protecting him,” he explained to her. “You are a hunter, so you know the basics, and understand them. I need to find out what it is exactly that my brothers and sisters know about Clark,” he said and he turned to Clark, “Clark....you are special. For some reason you lived,” Castiel said to him. “God is allowing it, for what purposes I do not know. My brothers will not be as forgiving.” he said. “You have done nothing wrong, although my brothers...WILL try to kill you. Should you come across the angels, there is a sigal that you must use to protect yourself, I will show you how it is done,” he said and pointed to the one on the wall. “We will talk more once we are at the sanctuary,” he said. "I feel we should go to the church and create our own ....hideout as you call it," he said.

Before Clark could answer Ryanne's question about his lack of brothers and sisters Castiel appeared, he raised his brow as he began to speak of concerning matters. Not that Clark was one to argue with the angel, but he was telling him everything he already knew. Clark was pretty self aware, and already knew that he was in fact a Nephilim but he found it puzzling that he was the only one, or at least the only one that the angels knew about now. It was funny how Clark was seeking out angels this whole time to discover who his father was, and here it was that the angels were indeed the ones that would bring him to harm if discovered. Good thing Clark wasn't that great when it came to finding things.
"I already know I'm a Nephilim, and where is this sanctuary? A church? Wouldn't that kinda be like on the angel radar?" Clark tilted his head to the side, unsure of this angels plan if he had one or not. He seemed as confused as Clark was. Not that Ryanne didn't look capable, but it didn't inspire much faith that Castiel wanted her to protect him. This was all happening too fast, but he decided he'd go along with it. Though he wasn't keen on remaining in this "hideout" for very long, he wasn't into the life of hiding. Now running, he was better at that.
"Wouldn't it be easier if we just figured out who my father was? He'd help his son right?" Of course, Clark was referring to whichever angel would be his father, the whole purpose of Clark leaving home in the first place was to find him and he unknowingly walked into this battle field that was on the brink of collapse as seals continued to break. Of course, Clark didn't know how helpful he would be, or why he even needed to be eradicated, he wasn't particularly powerful like previously stated.
"Well I guess we should like beam up to the sanctuary place then right?" He looked at Castiel, awaiting his response as it was his next move. He only hoped that this game of chess wouldn't last any longer then it should.
Ryanne had been awaiting Clark's answer, eager to get her mind off of her family when Castiel appeared, literally out of nowhere. Even with the knowledge that demons could not get into the panic room, Ryanne had drawn her weapons and aimed a steady hand at Castiel before she lowered it once she realised it was the Angel.
She wasn't normally rude but she zoned out during Castiel's explanation about what a Nephilim was. She knew the important bits but she didn't really need to know Clark's personal bit so it wasn't until her name was mentioned that she perked up.
“Ryanne, I could use your help in protecting him...You are a hunter, so you know the basics, and understand them. I need to find out what it is exactly that my brothers and sisters know about Clark,”
It's not that she didn't like Clark, but she didn't very much like the idea of sitting on her arse looking after him, "You really need me to babysit him? I mean, if he gets in to trouble he can just 'poof' to another place. However, if it helps you whilst you stir up shit in Heaven, I'll do it." She swung her gaze around to Clark and waggled her eyebrows, "You up for more alone time?"
“We will talk more once we are at the sanctuary...I feel we should go to the church and create our own ....hideout as you call it,"
Going to a church made sense. It's the last place an Angel would look for a half Angel. Although, it could backfire because it was an obvious plan, Ryanne agreed and felt it was the best place.
"Wouldn't it be easier if we just figured out who my father was? He'd help his son right?"
The hunter looked at Clark and rested her hand on his forearm, "I don't think that would be a good idea, considering what Castiel just told you about them killing Nephilims."
Ry looked at Cas and cocked her eye brow, "Well? Are we going or not?"
Castiel looked at Clark and nodded. It would in fact be easier to figure out who his Father was, but still...Castiel sighed, he needed a plan, and right now, he didn’t have one. He looked at Clark hopelessly for a moment. He hadn’t wanted to disturb the kid or anything, but he knew that things were starting to get a bit out of control with the pending apocalypse and everything. He knew Clark knew he was Nephillim, that wasn’t the point. The point was to get him someplace safe before others found him. Others that were far more dangerous to him the Castiel or any other angel was. Clark didn’t seem to understand the importance of his situation. Castiel stared at Clark and Ry for a moment. To get them safe was going to be more difficult then he thought. A church WOULD be easy for his brothers to find them, but it would also be the last place that he would be expected to hide. “A church would make sense because the angels would not figure we would be dumb enough to HIDE in a church,” Castiel said to him explaining his reasoning.
Castiel thought about what Clark said about finding his Father, “I suppose that it would be easier to find him,” he said with a nod, “Though he could be in just as much danger as you are,” Castiel told him honestly. “I will have to ask other angels if they know of your Father’s whereabouts...” Castiel explained to him.
He looked a bit frusterated because he wanted to find him without having to ask others for help. He knew he wouldn’t have a choice though. Castiel was glad Ry seemed to agree that the church was the best place to hide. He did not have time for arguments right now.
Without anymore talking or interfering, Castiel placed his hands on both Ry and Clark and transported them to a church in the US. One that he would not even reveal the location of to anyone, let alone Ry. Though they would probably eventually figure it out. “Here is where you can stay for now...I must go find your Father,” Castiel said to Clark. He knew Clark might want to come, but he also knew that it was too dangerous. He looked at Ry a moment, “Ry, this is my cell number,” he said giving her a card. “Call me if something should happen...if you put sigils on the walls...remember...I will not be able to come in as well...” Castiel said.
