Welcome to SU: Legacy, a next-gen Supernatural RP that takes place in the year 2040. The Men of Letters has expanded to include three base locations across the continental US. Angels and demons have gone mostly dormant but there are still supernatural evils lurking in the shadows. The legacies could use your help. Are you in?
Giving credit where credit is due. A big thank you to all the coders at PBS and various resource sites for any codes, plug-ins and templates.
Thanks to Nick @ Fidelius for the fabulous mini-profile. Everything else was created by our own staff. If we missed someone please let us know.
We don't own Supernatural, we just enjoy it's awesomeness. Thanks Eric Kripke for creating it, all the writers/producers for putting out a great show and the CW for keeping it on the air for almost 10 years now!
There are moments in your life when you meet someone and you just know, there is an undoubted bond between you that echos so strongly that those around you can feel it, see it, sense it. When you exchange glances, sit next to each other. It's the kind of love that sprouts from friendship and trivial gestures of faux romanticism and subtle flirtation. When you take that next step, you ascend into a higher plain of existence and you can feel it too. The strength they give you, the will to continue on and push forward with both feet in. This moment for Adam was a moment of realization, that his best friend in the whole wide world was the woman he was in love with. Brightens his day to hear her voice over the phone, talking for hours as they sit in motel rooms across the country. He should have known it then, perhaps he did and just didn't realize it. Ryanne Benedict was the love of his life.
Her quip about making out in the bed afterwards made Adam smirk, something to look forward to. He was relieved to hear her say that it was okay to change the last name on the marriage certificate. Was something Adam felt strongly about, he nodded his head when she asked him if it was his mother's last name. Silently he watched her, saw her expression and was immediately overwhelmed with comfort by her touch. Smiling, letting his eyes droop close for a moment, her voice pulled him back.
"So, I know you're favourite colour is yellow, your favourite film is Pretty Woman and your favourite book is Pride and Prejudice. What I want to know is, what is your idea of a romantic date. Aaannnd, go. So, are you going to spill? Enquiring wives want to know."
He let a small smile out when he felt her hand leave his hair, gliding across his face. She was truly interested in him, wanted to get to know him more. He was excited to tell her all of these things, excited to hear so much from her. Their vows allowed them to have a life time together, so they have time to discuss about things. But in their profession, in this life, and with the apocalypse looming they could have as little as two months left. Adam knew he had to make each and every second with her count.
"Let's see romantic date. Well first off, I feel like the traditional dinner and a movie date is a good basis to start off but spice it up a bit. Make a big dinner, picnic style, and pick her up, go to a lakeshore or beach front and have dinner on the hood of the car in candle and moonlight. Movie, I'd say something new and refreshing. Most people linger on the classics for a special date, but experiencing something knew together you create a bond for years to come to talk about how amazing the movie was in theaters, or how horrible it was. Though if you want to stick with an out door theme, drive in is the place to go and I guess classics for that are the exception.
As for afterwards, if it's your first date sort of play up the kiss by the door. Cleverly call out the elephant if it ever storms on by. Second or third date, if it's implied sex will be involved it's always nice to have candles and music playing to create an atmosphere you can always fall back on later on in your relationship." Adam paused for a second, tapping his chin. That was a lot of detail, in fact it felt somewhat instructive. He chuckled to himself, turning a bit red slowly nodding.
A grin spread across her features when he didn't contradict her assumptions about his favourite things, making her wonder if he was just humouring her, choosing to ignore her or really didn't hear her.

Ryanne lay down next to him and turned on her side, her hand pillowing her cheek as she listened to him talk. The tone of it relaxing her considerably.
At his mention of a picnic, her eyes locked with his, not expecting something so romantic to come from him, not that she didn't think him to be romantic. She just wasn't expecting it.
It was nice to know that she wasn't the only one who didn't think movies was a cliche date and she did too, if it was all the classics. She'd seen them all before and it's always good to experience new things with new people and discover what their tastes were like.

She chuckled at his idea of the first time a couple would have sex, wondering if he really thought that the candles and music would really be set up, "Do you really think that? On the second or third date, if sex were to be involved, music and candles? I would have assumed, for new relationships and if they were attracted to each other, it would have been hot and heavy with little to no planning involved," She looked up at the ceiling in thought before carrying on, "Well, the only planning on my part would be to ensure that I was wearing matching underwear."
"Wow, little too detailed huh?"
She laughed then, burying her face into the pillow to muffle the sound before turning to face him again, her hand running over her hair, "Detail is good. I like to know specifics."
The hunter may have liked surprises but if it was something that needed even the slightest bit of planning, she needed all the details and all of the information. She knew it was a bit anal of her but it was who she was and how she worked.
Ryanne winked at him before leaning over to kiss him softly on the lips, "So, is there anything about me you would like to know, that you don't already know?"
