We are an intermediate/advanced, literate Supernatural RPG (role playing game) board. The RP is based on the TV show Supernatural. We have a great core group of players and we've just revamped the board. We have a new look and some new plots, so take a look around and toss your character into the mix if this looks like the place for you.

New York City, The Big Apple. It's a place for people to make their new starts, for new lives to begin. Yet it hasn't always been this way. A hundred years ago, a war broke out among the preternaturals of New York City that threw the city into turmoil and started a long struggle that lasted off and on throughout the years. The vampires took control of the city and used the lycanthropes as pets, but soon, the wereanimals of the city decided that they weren't going to take it and a war broke out that nearly destroyed the city. Preternaturals left the city, abandoned it to the humans for fifty years.
Lycanthropes have lived alongside the humans in the city, but they have been few and far between. The Vampire Council has determined that New York is ripe for the taking and has sent a Master to take over the city and start from scratch. Vampires are beginning to flock to this new master so that the city is, yet again, thriving with preternatural life. With the vampires coming into the city, the lycanthropes are returning and starting their own groups back up.
Though the city is thriving with new preternatural life, things are not going well for them. All across the country, preternaturals are disappearing, only to be found months later, beaten, battered, and bruised with no memories of what happened to them. Yet their bodies and their stories sound like they were being tested, experimented on. Vampires and lycanthropes are looking out for each other without even realizing it. All groups are investigating the disappearances, inadvertently working together for a common goal, while still fighting against one another.
The only question that remains is who will break first? The preternaturals, or those taking them? The ball has to drop, someone has to suffer for the harm that have come to preternaturals, but will be it the humans who take them, or those trying to protect them?

Personal Style (write a short paragraph): Dmetri is most often in his dog form, but when he needs to get on two legs for a bit, he prefers the simple look of a henley or T-shirt and blue jeans. His leather jacket is always present, left to him by his older brother who died in service over seas. The boots...well he just likes them.

Personality (write a decent paragraph): Dmetri is a loving and devoted father (er...pet) to his four year old daughter, Emma. He's always been kind and wants to make others happy which led him to fall in with his ex. As you can tell, his kindness and selflessness often gets him into trouble, but he never stops trying to help people. He believes in the potential for good in everyone because if he can do it, anyone can. His brother gave his life to try and make the world a safer place and he won't taint that by destroying human life himself.

History: Dmetri was born in Charleston, SC and lived there most of his life until his parents moved to Virginia to be near his older brother, Richard when he enlisted. That's where he'd been bitten at age 16 and where met Patricia at age 21. He fell for her intelligence and stubbornness. He hadn't known it would be his undoing. Patricia became violent and verbally abusive towards him, often bringing his sexuality into it in a negative way claiming he couldn't love her and their daughter if he was attracted to men as well. Dmetri finally decided to leave, planning to take his daughter with him but Patricia found out. She had arranged to have him killled and would have succeeded if she'd known about his secret. Now, to stay close to his daughter, he posed as a stray on the doorstep. Patricia took him in without a second thought and now he can spend all the time he likes with Emma and has become her favorite cuddle companion.

She was learning her basics for kindergarten and making friends and he got a bit of a break. He loved her completely but she could really wear him out. His time without Emma was spent wandering about the house, on two legs for a change, helping himself to whatever food they had and catching up on his shows. But when Emma came came home it was play time and he looked forward to it every day.
The front door opened and Dmetri barked excitedly as a small body came racing in. "Puppahs," Emma yelled, throwing her arms around his neck. "I missed you!" Dmetri licked at her cheeks lovingly. 'I missed you too,' he thought to himself. 'I just wish I could hug you instead.'

Set midway through Supernatural's Season Two premiere episode "In My Time Of Dying", Rage And Grace swings into Alternate Universe territory with a new twist on what could have been, had the Yellow Eyed Demon been a little more devious and John Winchester just a bit more desperate.
Combine that with supernatural threats from all angles and the world has got one hell of a fight on it's hands.

It is the year 2155 and the future is not a happy place. Quite the opposite, in the year 2082 a global earthquake rocked the planet for a full eight minutes. Those eight minutes were more than enough to end the world as mankind knew it. Modern society, technology, transportation…most if not all of it is gone. To make matters even worse mankind was also faced with old monsters and enemies almost long forgotten or solely kept alive by film.
Vampires, werecreatures, witches…
All of them came out of the woodwork. Once they might have been pushed into the darkness and had to hide away in order to survive, but not any longer. This new, destroyed world was their second chance and most of them certainly did not waste any time to grab it.
Our story starts in the Year 2155, in the former capitol of Greece, Athens. Now mostly a demolished, ghost town that stands as a monument of times past, Athens is mostly inhabited by the desperate, the greedy and the dangerous. Several settlements have been formed around its outskirts, offering little and rather transient safety to those that choose to live there. The region itself is ruled by various men and women, who lead their respective factions and groups; humans hoping to resettle this region, vampires that prey on the humans from beneath the ruined sewers and subways of Athens, various shifter species that are fighting for dominance and the witches who are mostly scattered and just trying to survive.
What the weary populace is mostly unaware of is that the Empire of Litos is coming; an autocracy that is looking to conquer the former capitol and to erect it to new glory. So far they have sent a 300 man strong legion to scout out the area and form alliances, to find out who the pliable and who the dangerous are for they will be invading soon enough.
In a place and time that everybody has been confronted by their darkness we welcome you to the very cold and quite possibly very last frontier – just be sure to check the Shadows, for you can never know what can be found lurking within.

Our Plot: When Dean's raiding party is attacked and overrun by demons sent by Lucifer, Castiel aids Dean and Sam in using a form of blood magic to send Dean, Sam, Jo and a few other survivors to safety in order to save their lives, they wouldn't have survived without the intervention of the Angel that has both saved and condemned Dean and Sam over the years. Stuck with trying to figure out who set Lucifer free from Hell, Dean and Sam must adjust to living in a new timeline where everything - much like their last trip - has changed, but everything is connected, set in motion from another reality, how will they adjust to facing old evils and new trials?
Meanwhile, a few months later, Nate and Sara Levine and their family along with Ginny Winchester are left at the mercy of the Croatoan virus, when they find a tablet of the lord read by a friend of theirs named Daniel who is a prophet guided by an angel named Alexandra, they perform a spell that is supposed to rid the world of the virus but instead sends them into the future, landing themselves in the same time line as Dean and Sam Winchester, though they are presently unaware of this fact.
What No one is aware of is that this timeline has it's own oddities. Sam's eldest child has been having strange dreams that have (not that his children are aware) come true much like their father did when he was their age, thrown together with their children, they not only have to avert the apocalypse, but work out why History seems like it's doomed to repeat itself and explain to their children why they're alive and most importantly why they disappeared all those years ago.

Heather tends to wear a variety of shades of color, but usually the top-half of her wardrobe consists of cool colors like blue, green, black, grey and purple. She doesn’t mind skirts although wears jeans most of the times. Often she loves wearing a necklace that has a dragonfly with embedded blue gems in it. She will occasionally wear earrings though usually she will leave her ears bear. Wears black framed, rectangular librarian-styled glasses. Most of her shirts are t-shirts from the “Unity” brand but she also has sweaters that she will wear to work. Heather’s hair is worn down most of the time and will only be tied into a ponytail if she feels like she needs to concentrate or focus on a subject. Almost always will have a notebook and a pen on her person as well as her ipod and laptop which she takes to work.
Likes (3 at least): Writing, Dragonflies, Anime/Manga, Reading, Archery.
Dislikes (3 at least): Has a fear of spiders as well as bees since she was stung on the nose when she was little. Also dislikes horror movies.

She might be seen as a basket case because of her obsession with fantasy had gotten to a point where she thinks of herself as a half-fairy or a changeling because of weird habits (feeling unusual during certain cycles of the moon, her shoulder blades having occasional stabbing-pains and are sensitive to touch, her high love of nature, ect;) Dean and Sam most likely would think the same, or at least that’s what she would expect.

Despite her place of employment, she is a very quiet individual. Usually keeping to herself, she doesn’t have very many friends. She’s a booky, mostly interested in the fantasy, adventure and mystery genres. Heather can also be a nerd as she likes to read manga and watch anime, also her fascination with medieval and renaissance periods (if you take her to a faire--ye hath been warned!). She used to be involved in paganism but was such a total noob at it (instead of drawing pentagrams she would literally walk in a circle). Eventually she gave it up after realizing she wouldn’t gain anything from it. Heather can be a bit paranoid and it’s for this reason she will never sit through a horror movie. Heather can be seen to have an almost child-like innocence until she meets Sam and Dean.

History:
Heather grew up in the woodsy town of Jackman, Maine where she began to have love for the nature and wildlife as a child. When she was four years old, her parents divorced and at age eleven, they got back together but never remarried. When she was very young, things such as finances were a little tight which caused her to be laughed at by kids at school. Because of this, she had low self esteem issues in which she had counseling done and even when that brought back some confidence in herself, she still remains quiet.
After High School, she completed college courses online and had decided to move out of state to New Hampshire in pursuit of her dream--to become an author. Though she knew she wouldn’t find her gig right off, she instead applied for a job at a news printing factory known as the “Weekly Sights Newspaper”.
Heather’s adventure begins when she was asked to cover a story about mysterious disappearances in the Bedford area. When she got there, she noticed two guys wearing jackets talking to each other. At first she was hesitant to approach them, getting a creepy vibe from them, but shook it off and asked who they were and if they were willing to be interviewed.
Sam and Dean said basic information, explaining they were reporters as well. She had her suspicions at first, but they seemed convincing. However, Heather finds her world spinning out of control as she digged deeper and deeper into the disappearances, meeting up with Sam and Dean again and again, causing her to have suspicions about the brothers. When Heather becomes targeted, Sam and Dean end up rescuing her and telling her the truth, to which she compares to a Stephen King novel. When the creature that is the cause of the disappearances is caught and killed, Heather felt indebted to the brothers and understood that they had to go, however she wished that there was something she could’ve done to help out the brothers in some way.
Later on, Heather gets a shocking revelation when she finds out a family secret that could jeopardize their lives and hits close to home. So once again, she meets up with Sam and Dean--and an angel by the name of “Cas”. After they save the ones she cared about, she quit her job and became a hunter explaining that she doesn’t want other people to experience the fear she had when her family was put in danger.

Heather breathed in the chill of the autumn air. As she walked Jessie around in a local park, gathering her thoughts on what to write for the next chapter of her story, her cell rang. She took it out and flipped the cover open, seeing it was work, “Landcaster,” She answered. After a while she nodded, “I’ll be on my way.” She clicked the off button and was off. Soon, she pulled her dodge over and parked it on the side of the road of a house that looked like it’s seen better days. “Stay here, I’ll be right back.” She said to Jessie before climbing out. Her boss had informed her of a string of missing people and that he wanted her to cover the story. He had given her a list of names in which she wrote down just minutes after she hung up. Looking around she eventually saw the family of the missing man by the name of Todd Miller. Questioning them, she wrote down what they had to say, until eventually the wife of the man had said, “Look, I already told the reporters what I know.” “I understand, thank you.” Heather said before turning to look around for any more potential intervewees when she spots two guys talking to each other, leaning against an old Chevy Impala. She shivered as a slight wind blew at her back, something wasn’t right. Shaking off her nerves, Heather walked up to the two men, “Excuse me, I’m Heather Landcaster from the Weekly Sights Paper and I was wondering if you were up for an interview...or are you interviewers yourselves?” She asked with uncertainty.

ALL THAT MATTERS IS A MULTI-FANDOM SITE. IT IS SET IN THE CITY OF ANGELS, LOS ANGELES AND UNITES SOME OF OUR FAVORITE HEROES. For six hundred turns Pern lived without the threat of thread thanks to AIVAS's work. No longer did dragons and their riders have to risk their lives to keep home and hold safe. They gladly settled into their new role in the world. As the turns passed, it was only the tales of their past heroics that kept the weyrs supplied with enough candidates and food to care for the dragons. And while the weyrs struggled, new advancements were made both in medicine and technology. Surgeries that would have killed before now became plausible, steam-powered fire lizards became the pets of Lord and Lady Holders. It was not long after a failed test with a steam powered airship that things began to change. It started first with a simple hatching. Once a moment of joy for those who would impress, hatchings became nothing short of a nightmare for all. It started with one hatchling attacking another, and then the hatchlings began attacking the candidates themselves. The incident was not an isolated one. Over and over the grisly scene played itself out in the weyrs until becoming a candidate was thought of as little more than a death sentence. The stories that had sheltered the weyrs for so long were no longer enough, and the people of Pern, frightened by what was happening, turned away from them.
Pern, it seemed, would never wake up from this nightmare. The violence, once restrained to hatchling dragons, spread through the ranks of the elder dragons. Soon dragons were not only attacking each other but even their own riders. If there was one silver lining to be found, it was that the afflicted dragons would die no more than a month after their symptoms appeared. After three maddening, bloody months, the last dragon falls, the final victim to the ‘Plague of Madness’. All of Pern waits in fear of the next wave of bloodshed, but it never comes. The horrible fate of the dragons seemed to pass over the smaller creatures, leaving the whers and firelizards untouched. As the turns passed, everyone began to believe the nightmare had finally ended. Some people mourned the loss of the dragons while there were those that chose to forget them, the memory of their loss too great. But many chose to remember the dragons as they were before they vanished, vicious creatures that only wished to spill their blood.
Such dark thoughts pervaded the Pernese conscious for hundreds of turns. Two hundred turns after the dragons vanish the unthinkable happens as Thread begins to fall. Whers and firelizards struggled to protect the world just as the dragons had done before them, but at the end of the fifty turn long Pass Pern’s new protectors had nearly wiped themselves out with the effort. Another two hundred turns passed and their numbers had yet to recover. Just as many believe their world will fall into darkness once more a light of hope shines upon them. As the Lord Holders prepare to announce the grim news, a great golden beast appears in the sky flanked by six hundred dragons ready to protect a world that thought them gone. Both hope and fear fill the people of Pern, but before anyone can decide which they they dared trust, the Queen vanished, leaving behind fifty dragons and their riders as well as a precious gift. A clutch of twenty-nine eggs donated to the newly formed Aterrima Weyr, one holding the coveted golden Queen. The search for Candidates began in earnest, and willing or not the young men and women of Pern were conscripted to Stand. And Stand they did. All of Aterrima bore witness as the first strange hatchling, a gold and purple male like a richly colored sunset, stepped onto the Sands. And all of Aterrima bore witness as Kaltith appeared once more and sought to destroy it.
Golden Rimeth saved her Topaz brother, and in the process died. Kaltith would have crushed the rest even then, but the dragons of Aterrima rose against her at Rimeth's last command. Remember Rimeth, and protect my siblings.
Weyrleader S'zar intends to do just that and much, much more.

Dust and Gravel is a literate-to-advanced role-playing message board. It's a crossover site based on the shows Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Supernatural.
It is the Winter of 2008. After the destruction of the L.A. branch of the law offices of Wolfram & Hart, the Senior Partners used their remaining power to build themselves a new headquarters in the mostly unlikeliest of places: Sunnydale. The town itself was destroyed in May of 2003, however, the Senior Partners simply 'borrowed' a version of Sunnydale from another dimension that was left in shambles anyway, a world known as the Wishverse. The Senior Partners set in motion a plan to gain control over the Hellmouth beneath Sunnydale High School, and the beings dwelling within it. However, a few months back, a Devil's Gate in Wyoming was opened and all manner of evil escaped into the world.

Plot:
Ever wonder what the angels were up to during the apocalypse? What happened to make Gabriel leave Heaven? What happened to Castiel when he was younger?
What was it like from the Angels POV during all this? Some angels have destinies of their own, while others simply follow orders. Some angels believe in the Apocalypse and stand by Raphael's side, while some agree with Castiel and want freedom.
Meanwhile, down on Earth....With Lucifer on the loose, the Winchester brothers have their hands full. Sam and Dean are avoiding the angels trying to stay away from their 'destinies'. Meanwhile, Jo and Ellen have their hands full with the Roadhouse, more and more hunters stopping by for a place to stay and/or a place to eat. Some of the other hunters know that Sam is the one that started the apocalypse and want to kill him for being Lucifers vessel, which makes Sam a fugitive from hunters. Can Dean save his brother before the hunters or the angels get to him? Can they find a way to put Lucifer back into the cage? Come join us to find out! Takes place during Season 4-5 after 'Jump the Shark'

It began about midway through the Ninth Interval. Golden Xoraneth's Clutch hardened on the sands. The focus of that Clutch was the large golden egg moved to the side of the rest of the eggs. Everyone knew that egg would hold a new Queen. So a Search commenced and likely girls were found.
When the Hatching began, every Candidate was called to the Sands, each one ready to Impress. Bronzes, Browns, Greens and Blues all hatched and Impressed before the big golden egg even had a crack in its shell. But when the crack appeared, the egg seemed to know it was time for it to hatch. So hatch it did, and out came two golden bodies. For the first time on Pern, a Hatching held the birth of twin Golds.
Each Gold took her time to look through the Candidates. One found Hers on the Sands, while the other found Hers in the Stands. Weyrling training began and the two newest Goldriders of Pern almost immediately did not like each other. Neither goldrider could stand to be near the other. So when the two graduated, Zrye and Yzyth took a group and started a brand new Weyr. For a while, everything seemed to be going fine.
Everything except for the twins' Flights. Each time the Flight finished, neither Kalinth or Yzyth would Clutch. This made members of both Weyrs believe the twins to be sterile. Both goldriders knew that they would have to get in contact with another goldrider who might be willing to transfer to their Weyr, but neither had the time. That is when the natural disasters began.
Volcanoes in the North and earthquakes in the South. Nowhere on Pern was safe. Nowhere, but the Western Islands. Each goldrider was forced to watch as their Weyr suffered losses, but both knew they had to move on. They needed to find a new home for their people. Both found a new Weyr with everything they would need, but no one knew the creators of the Weyr. Though a few parts of their new homes lay in ruin, it was less so than what their old homes suffered from. There was only one problem with this new Weyr. The Weyr was the same one the other found. Now only one question remains:
Can the two put their differences aside so the Weyr can prosper?
